The ballroom awaits! Us Weekly can exclusively confirm that Anne Heche, Jesse Metcalfe and Vernon Davis are all set to compete on the upcoming 29th season of Dancing With the Stars. According to sources, the three celebs will compete for the Mirrorball trophy when the season premieres on Monday, September 14. ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 29: Everything We Know Heche, 51, is best known for films include Donnie Brasco, Seven Days, Seven Nights and a recent role on Chicago P.D. Metcalfe, 41, for his part, has starred on Desperate Housewives and in the film John Tucker Must Die among others. Former NFL player Davis, 36, played with the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos, with whom he won the Super Bowl in 2015. He finished his pro career in Washington, D.C. The celebrities join Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean who first teased the news via Instagram when he alluded to his strict eating regimen. “I’m on a very strict diet, grain-free, gluten-free, sugar-free, no sodas of any kind, and completely sober for almost nine months,” he said wrote. “This amazing, but rigorous, workout is all due to my amazing trainer, Mr. Bobby Strong. He’s been a huge asset in my transformation, trying to get myself prepared and ready for what’s to come in the next few weeks. A lot of surprises coming from me.” Days later, the “I Want It That Way” crooner, 42, confirmed the news via Twitter: “We’re going for the mirrorball, baby!! I am so grateful to @dancingabc and @abcnetwork for the opportunity to be joining this season’s cast of #DWTS,” he captioned a selfie from a dance studio on August 27. “I also want to thank my wife and my two girls for letting Daddy go on this new adventure. I’m doing it ALL for you!” Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe is also confirmed to compete. Months before announcing any other celebrities, Chris Harrison asked Bristowe — who has voiced her hopes to do the show — during an episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever in June. Bristowe previously claimed that Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss didn’t allow her to dance on the show.

"Dancing With the Stars" is foxtrotting back into our lives on Sept. 14, and "Good Morning America" is exclusively revealing the celebrities competing on season 29.
The full list of stars -- including "Tiger King" star Carole Baskin -- was announced first Wednesday on "GMA."
More notable celebs competing for the coveted Mirror Ball trophy include "Hot in Herre" rapper Nelly, "Desperate Housewives" hunk Jesse Metcalf and Super Bowl champ Vernon Davis.
Previously announced cast members included "Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe and Backstreet Boy heartthrob AJ McLean.
Others set to bust a move this year are "Cheer" coach Monica Aldama, actress Anne Heche, Disney Channel alum Skai Jackson, "One Day at a Time" star Justina Machado, "The Real" co-host Jeannie Mai, NBA great Charles Oakley, "Catfish" host Nev Schulman, "Selling Sunset" favorite Chrishell Stause and ice skater Johnny Weir.
Baskin, for one, is ready to set the record straight after feeling "villain-ized" by "Tiger King."
Nelly, on the other hand, is "up for the challenge" despite it being a "different energy" than he's used to.
"I'm a Scorpio, I feel like I can do anything," he said. "This is going to be my biggest test yet, but I'm up for it."
Each of these 15 famous faces hoping to win big will be paired up with their very own pro, who will help them along their "DWTS" journey, during the premiere.
As for noteworthy pros for the 2020 edition, Britt Stewart has the distinction of being the series' first-ever Black female pro.

Like a big cat stalking its prey, the Dancing With the Stars producers waited a full 117 minutes before going in for the kill, stringing along the scores of new lookie-loo viewers who, judging by the sudden social media interest in the creaky 29th season premiere of the show, were tuning in for a reality-TV snuff film: the televised humiliation of the year’s most notorious TV star. They got just that, too. Baskin’s paso doble, danced with laughable predictability to Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” earned the lowest score of the night. With just 11 points out of 30, she even ranked lower than former NBA star Charles Oakley, whose choreography at one point was just him clapping in time to the beat. The show’s producers, which includes this season’s new host Tyra Banks, wisely suspected that the zeitgeist-seizing personality from Netflix’s maddeningly popular Tiger King docuseries was going to be the night’s big draw, teasing her appearance in the show’s COVID-compliant socially-distanced ballroom roughly three times a segment. Say what you will about the long-running reality competition and the audience it panders to, these people are savants of shamelessness. From Sean Spicer to Bristol Palin to Rick Perry, they know what casting decisions are going to score headlines, drum up interest and relevance, and ruffle feathers—and not of the samba gown variety.

Bachelor Nation isn't the only massive fan base supporting Kaitlyn Bristowe on her Dancing with the Stars journey. After the season 29 premiere, Lady Gaga's "Little Monsters" are cheering her on as well!
During Monday's episode — which was filmed in the ballroom but without an audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic — Bristowe made her debut on the ABC reality dance competition series with pro partner Artem Chigvintsev. The pair performed an energetic cha cha to the beat of Gaga's hit "Stupid Love," earning a 20/30 score from judges Derek Hough, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.
On Tuesday, the superstar singer shared a tweet from a fan account that included the video of Bristowe's performance, which Gaga said made her "cry."
"Is it weird that this made me cry...I love watching people happy and dancing!" wrote Gaga, 34.

Dancing With the Stars returned on Monday for the third week of competition, and the stars are paying tribute to the House of Mouse!
After the season's first elimination last week, 14 celebs and their pro partners are still duking it out for the mirrorball trophy as they hit the stage to show off their moves in a series of Disney-themed dances.
As Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli judge and score the performances -- and new host Tyra Banks adds her own commentary to the competition -- ET is following along throughout the two-hour episode to break down all the best dances, emotional moments and most shocking scores.
The show kicked off on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, and ET is bringing you all the highlights in real time with our live blog coverage below!
And the Second Star Going Home Is... 6:59 PM: Even after a fun night of Disney magic, the time has come to give one couple the axe. Tensions are running high as Tyra reads through the results and slowly reveals which couples are safe until two couples are left -- and than it'll be the judges who have to vote on who goes home and who get's kicked off.
After all is said and done, it comes down to Anne and Keo, as well as Carole and Pasha.
It only took the first two judges to decide that Anne and Keo should stay, thus cutting Carole's time on DWTS short.
"My husband is going to be so happy I'm coming home," Carole says after the vote, seemingly in high spirits despite the elimination.
This means Anne and Keo survive to dance again another week!
Chrishell Stause and Gleb Savchenko Close Out Disney Night in Style 6:50 PM: Being a Disney princess is a good fit for Chrishell! Donning an elegant blue gown, the reality star takes to the dance floor with a regally outfitted Gleb to perform a classy waltz from "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella.
The dance is a showcase for their chemistry and Chrishell looks overjoyed to be living out a magical Disney dream.
"Chrishell, the belle of the ball. Gorgeous. You really looked like the ultimate Disney princess," Bruno praised. "Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I could feel the romance unfolding."
The fantastical duo earn two 7s and an 8 for a total of 22 out of 30 -- putting them comfortably in the top half of tonight's leaderboard.
Jesse Metcalfe and Sharna Burgess Bring Big Apple Charm 6:42 PM: Jessa and Sharna bring fun, youthful energy to the stage for their jive, set to "King of New York" from Newsies, and the energy is magnetic, while the technicality is a bit off. The dance is met with seemingly split criticism from the judges. Derek is less than thrilled with the footwork and musicality, while Bruno loves the style and the character work -- and Carrie Ann is in the middle, agreeing with both points.
However, the scores are far from bad. Carrie Ann and Bruno give them 7s while Derek awards a 6 for a total of 20 out of 30.
