http://instagram.com/p/CAHT4WRFRYD Ariana Grande has been a pioneer in the wearing-oversized-sweatshirts-without-pants movement for years and, because of quarantine, the entire world is now following in her lead. But just as the rest of us have started to understand the joys of jersey knit-pantslessness, Ari has put her trademark ensemble on pause and swapping the loungewear staple for another comfy option. http://instagram.com/p/B_vC7YkFmZm Over the past few weeks, the pop star has worn nothing other than dainty bralettes and oversized jeans. She posted multiple shots of this ivory lace number, while cozied up in her massive bed. Ya, she looks like a straight-up lifestyle influencer. http://instagram.com/p/B_xjiTdFtUH Days later, Ari repeated her new favorite outfit. She wore this fluffy black tube top, which is basically just a fancy bandeau bra, with another pair of high-rise blues.

As the third anniversary of the Manchester Arena bombing approaches, Ariana Grande is keeping those impacted close to her heart. On May 22, 2017, 22 people were killed and hundreds more injured after a terrorist detonated a bomb as fans were leaving the pop star's concert. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Grande shared a message of solidarity. "I want to take a moment to acknowledge and send my love to everyone that is feeling the sadness and tremendous heaviness of the anniversary coming up this week. Not a day goes by that this doesn't affect you and all of us still. I will be thinking of you all week and weekend," she wrote. "My heart, thoughts, prayers are with you always." Last summer, Ariana returned to Manchester to headline the U.K city's pride festival. It marked her first time performing there since she co-organized a massive benefit concert honoring the victims and survivors of the attack. In a letter written by the songstress for her Dangerous Woman docu-series, Ariana said in part, "When something so opposite and so poisonous takes place in your world that is supposed to be everything but that... It is shocking and heartbreaking in a way that seems impossible to fully recover from." "The spirit of the people of Manchester, the families affected by this horrendous tragedy, and my fans around the world have permanently impacted all of us for the rest of our lives," Grande wrote in her letter. "Their love, strength, and unity showed me, my team, my dancers, band, and entire crew not to be defeated. To continue during the scariest and saddest of times. To not let hate win. But instead, love as loudly as possible, and to appreciate every moment. The people of Manchester were able to change an event that portrayed the worst of humanity into one that portrayed the most beautiful of humanity."

On May 29, 2020, members of Grande and Swift’s fandoms (known as Arianators and Swifties, respectively), noticed that the former was no longer following the latter on Instagram. “NOT OUR LAST DROP OF TAYRIANA DISAPPEARING,” wrote one Twitter user upon discovering this. Sadly, Grande and Swift don’t have much of a relationship. Aside from working in the same industry, their most notable connection is not a positive one. Grande’s manager, Scooter Braun, has been locked in a feud with Swift for nearly a year now. The “Me!” singer is working to get back the rights to her master recordings from Braun’s Big Machine Records. Her fans say she unfollowed a lot of celebrities http://instagram.com/p/CAx9n8BlVAe Grande is one of the most-followed celebrities on the social media platform, with 188 million followers. She is following nearly 700 accounts herself. However, this number dropped after Grande went on an unfollowing spree. Those thought to have been cut include members of the Kardashian/Jenner family and Lana Del Rey, with whom Grande previously collaborated. What was the reason for the unfollowing spree? Grande hasn’t addressed it and isn’t likely too. But some fans believe that it could be related to her strong stance on the death of George Floyd and call-to-action for the Black Lives Matter movement. In addition to sharing resources, Grande wrote in the above post, “our black friends need us to show up and to be better and to be vocal. now more than ever.” Grande liked Swift’s tweet After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’ We will vote you out in November. @realdonaldtrump — Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) May 29, 2020 Because of this, some believe that Grande is unfollowing all of the celebrities who aren’t acknowledging this event or using their platforms to show their support of the movement. However, that doesn’t make sense in the case of Swift. Though the singer is not particularly active on social media, she shared a post honoring Floyd in her Instagram Story. In a similar vein, Swift then called for political action with the above tweet at Donald Trump. Grande has been active in efforts to get her fans to vote, teaming up with HeadCount for her “Thank U Next Gen” campaign. And though she typically remains bipartisan, she supported Swift’s message against the U.S. president by liking the tweet.

Ariana Grande is on the move! The popstar, 26, recently purchased a newly built home in the Hollywood Hills for $13.7 million, the Los Angeles Times reports, citing real estate sources not authorized to comment publicly on the deal. The ultra-modern property, in the Hills’ Bird Streets neighborhood, was designed by L.A.-based firm Woods + Dangaran, and features canyon and ocean views. The 10,000-square-foot space also includes floor-to-ceiling windows lining the lower entertainment level and pocketed walls that open up to an infinity pool in the outdoor space. All three levels of the home have glass balconies. There are four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a fitness studio, a wellness center and an office, as well as a bar and a wine cellar on the lower floor. Grande purchased the home off-market for much less than its previous listing prices, according to the Times. Two years ago, it was up for sale for $25.5 million, and more recently was offered for $17.495 million. The “Thank U Next” singer’s home buy comes about two months after a source told PEOPLE she has been dating L.A. real estate agent Dalton Gomez.

Forbes recently released its annual list of highest-earning celebrities, and with Grande in 17th place. The “Thank U, Next” singer earned $72 million in between June 2019 and May 2020. Grande’s Sweetener World Tour grossed $146 million in 2019, Forbes noted, which helped elevate her botton line. She also makes money from album sales and streams and projects such as serving as the co-executive producer of the Charlie’s Angels soundtrack. Grande has an estimated net worth of $100 million. How the ‘7 Rings’ singer spends her money http://instagram.com/p/CAtQOJVFoVY Grande makes a lot of money and she also knows how to spend it. She has a $16 million apartment in New York City and has been known to fly her dogs solo on a private jet. The Grammy-winner also spends on high fashion items like a Fendi jacket that retails for nearly $3,000 and pricey Sergio Rossi boots. And of course, there was the time she and her friends got drunk at Tiffany’s and she bought them all expensive engagement rings to show her friendship. The event inspired the song ‘7 Rings.’ With lyrics like “Lashes and diamonds, ATM machines/Buy myself all of my favorite things” and “I see it, I like it, I want it, I got it” the song makes it clear that Grande isn’t afraid to spend money if she wants to. Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish are among the other highest-earning female musicians http://instagram.com/p/CATAEwLjKqx Landing behind Grande on Forbes’ list of highest-earning celebrities are stars such as Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish. Swift earned $63.5 million in the past 12 months, in part due to the release of her new album Lover in 2019. In 2019, she was the world’s top-paid star with $185 million in earnings. “Bad Guy” singer Eilish is the youngest person on the list, with $53 million in earnings. Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez earned $47.5 million, while Pink took home $47 million. Rihanna made $46 million and Canadian chanteuse Celine Dion — who embarked n a sold-out world tour in 2019 — made $42 million. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga made $38.5 million and $38 million, respectively. But all those big earnings pale in comparison to what this year’s best-paid celebrities took home. Despite being unceremoniously knocked off the Forbes billionaire list, Kylie Jenner is still the world’s highest-earning star, with an income of $590 million thanks to the sale of her cosmetics company to Coty. Her brother-in-law Kanye West was in the no. 2 spot, with earnings of $170 million.
