Lady A is taking a sweet and sentimental look back at Christmases past in their latest music video. The group released the video for their new holiday track, “Christmas Through Your Eyes” on Monday Nov. 30, juxtaposing home videos of the band members’ childhood Christmases with footage they each recorded of their own children at Christmastime. The result is a perfect and endearing fit for a song all about seeing Christmas through the eyes of a child. The music video release comes on the same day the band is set to perform on ABC’s “CMA Christmas”. The trio will deliver renditions of two Christmas classics, Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmastime” and the Beach Boys’ “Little Saint Nick,” both of which are featured on their new holiday album, On This Winter’s Night, along with “Christmas Through Your Eyes.”

Lady A takes a stroll down memory lane with their favorite holiday memories. On “CMA’s Country Christmas,” the musical group shared what Christmas meant to each of them. For Lady A’s Charles Kelley, his favorite holiday memory is watching his son get up on Christmas morning. Kelley remembered the excitement in his eyes. “I think one of my favorite holiday memories recently was last Christmas,” Kelley said. “When Ward, he’s finally three-and-a-half and he really understood what it meant to walk down and have his presents under the tree. All the presents from out. That was something special for me.” For Lady A’s Dave Haywood, his favorite holiday memory was welcoming a loved one. Haywood’s daughter Lillie was born on Dec. 22, 2017. “I think my favorite Christmas memory is my daughter was born right before Christmas,” Haywood said. “So we were in the hospital coming home a couple of years ago [with] our daughter Lillie. It’s a special holiday. Her birthday and Christmas are there back to back so it’s a special time.”
