Sabrina Carpenter proved that she’s not afraid of heights in a photo that had many of her 24.4 million Instagram followers promising to catch her. Sabrina, 21, might be best known for her talent as a singer and actress, but she occasionally stuns her fans by showing off her equally impressive modeling skills. For her latest photoshoot, the former Disney Channel star got a bit daring. She sat on the windowsill of an open window so that her backside slightly stuck out over its edge. She gripped both sides of its frame and leaned back, making her position look even more precarious. The leafy green branches of a tree curled against the wall right below Sabrina. Numerous tall trees grew around the building where she was photographed, casting dark shade on the paved ground below. She appeared to be on the high second story of the structure. The underside of the roof’s eaves could be seen above her head. She tagged the photography account for her older sister Sarah, identifying her as the person who took the pic. Sarah seemingly had to take the shot from another open window. She captured Sabrina from the side as she turned her head toward the camera. The “Skin” singer wore a white sleeveless top crafted out of thin fabric with a silk-like sheen. The arm openings were wide, revealing the porcelain skin of her left shoulder, back, and underarm area. She had on a matching skirt, but only a hint of the garment was visible. Her blond hair was styled in soft, voluminous waves that cascaded down her back. Her flawless face had a dewy glow, and her lips were ruby red. She parted her plump pout as she gazed at the camera with her piercing blue eyes. http://instagram.com/p/CKsHXI1DxNi The photo appeared to be from the same shoot that she did for her “Skin” cover art, which can be viewed here.

Hello! It's Episode 402 in the Olivia Rodrigo/Sabrina Carpenter/Joshua Bassett drama series and things still appear to be going pretty strong, even if some fans do think the whole thing is a PR stunt... But first, the backstory! You probably know this already so let's try to keep it brief, even if we could probably fill a fairly big book with all the drama so far. http://instagram.com/p/CD-DE6_ho4K So! High School Musical: The Musical: The Series costars Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett apparently dated (although this was never confirmed), and when they apparently broke up, things were rumored to be pretty messy behind the scenes. On the same day as Joshua was pictured on an apparent lunch date with Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia dropped a picture on Instagram wearing a "dump him" T-shirt, which seemed pointed, to say the least. And so, an apparent love triangle/feud was born. We all know that Olivia went on to drop heartbreak anthem "Drivers License," which is still riding high atop the charts and appeared to include more than one reference to Joshua. http://instagram.com/p/CKxAvfYjE_S The 17-year-old wouldn't be drawn on whether the song was about her costar, but she also didn't shut the rumors down either. In an interview with Billboard, she said: "I totally understand people's curiosity with the specifics of who the song's about and what it's about, but to me, that's really the least important part of the song." Then in steamrolled Joshua, who also released a few songs of his own which seemed to be a response to Olivia. One such track was called "Lie Lie Lie," which...well, it's not exactly subtle, is it? Some of the lyrics included direct references to "Drivers License" — including the lyric about a girl with blonde hair, and one which said "Don't drive yourself insane." However, in an apparent attempt to cool the flames, Sabrina hopped on Instagram and said: "I wasn't bothered by a few lines in a (magnificent) song and wrote a diss track about it...a lot of people were trying to get to me. The song isn't calling out one single person."

This week on the Billboard Hot 100, Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" is parked at No. 1 for a third frame. But about halfway down the list is a new song that probably wouldn't exist in quite the same way without "License."
Sabrina Carpenter's "Skin" is the highest debut on the chart this week, bowing at No. 48. The song -- which marks the first Hot 100 entry for the 21-year-old multi-platform star -- is likely at least in part a response to "License," which is widely believed to be written about Rodrigo's rumored ex Joshua Bassett and his supposed new flame, Carpenter. (Certain lyrics in "Skin" seem to call back to "License," including "Maybe 'blonde' was the only rhyme.")
How successful is "Skin" as an answer song? And will it help establish Sabrina Carpenter in the pop mainstream? Billboard staffers discuss these questions and more below.
So, a No. 48 debut: Certainly not as resounding as Olivia Rodrigo's historic entrance, but much more of an impact than Joshua Bassett's bubbling-under bow. If you're Sabrina Carpenter, how happy are you with that debut, on a scale from 1-10?
Stephen Daw: Considering that "Skin" was a surprise release, and the fact that this is Sabrina's first Hot 100 entry, I'd say that I'm at a solid 7. No, the song did not perform nearly as well as "Driver's License" (although how could it?), but it's faring significantly better than Bassett's "Lie Lie Lie," which is worth something. That being said, I do think that Sabrina was aiming for a massive win here — I would not be surprised if she's happy, though a bit underwhelmed, by the track's performance.
Lyndsey Havens: I'd say an 8. "Skin" effectively brings Sabrina into the consuming conversation surrounding this Disney love triangle of sorts, and I think a top 50 Hot 100 debut is just an added bonus.
Jason Lipshutz: I’d say a 7. Let’s remove the “Skin” debut from the context of the preceding bows from Rodrigo and Bassett -- this is Carpenter’s first Hot 100 entry, to launch her career on new label Island Records, so a nice step forward in the next phase of the former Disney star’s career. It’s too early to say if the perceived drama surrounding it has propelled the song to an inflated debut, but regardless of what happens next, an important (and long overdue) barrier has been crossed for Carpenter.
Mia Nazareno: I’d be at a 7 -- mildly pleased by cracking the top 50, but secretly hoping that it would’ve been closer to the top 20.
Andrew Unterberger: I'll say 7.5. There'd definitely be a part of me that'd love to see the song really rival the bow of Rodrigo's opening salvo -- though I'd realize that's a tall order, considering how historic her first-week numbers were -- but first Hot 100 entry, top half of the chart and highest debut of the week is all very good news by just about any standard.

Sabrina Carpenter Reveals If 'Skin' Was Response to Olivia Rodrigo Lyric | On-Air With Ryan Seacrest http://instagram.com/p/CKc5kIlAEwZ In it, she specifically references a "blonde girl" that's "so much older" than her, whom she thinks is the reason why the boy in the song (probably Joshua) left her. Enter Sabrina Carpenter, the rumored "blonde girl" Olivia is reffering to, who just last week released her own song "Skin," seemingly addressing the drama.
