BLACKPINK’s Rosé has shared the first taste of her highly-anticipated solo debut. While a title has yet to be revealed, Rosé will perform the song for the very first time during the K-pop group’s live-stream concert, THE SHOW. The ticketed event streams live on January 31 at 2:00 pm KST (midnight EST) via YouTube. The 34-second clip of the guitar-driven ballad features the New Zealand-born, South Korean-based artist singing in English: “All my love is gone/ All my love is gone/ Now you’re dead and gone.” The accompanying video snippet shows the K-pop star alone in various rooms of a house, as she laments her lost love. YG Entertainment confirmed additional details about the release, as reported by Hypebae: “We’re working on the finishing touches for the music video. As we’ve used an unprecedented budget for this release, we’re making sure that everything is perfect. We will make the official announcement soon.” Fans had the opportunity to watch Rosé working on her solo material during last year’s BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky documentary. The Netflix feature chronicled the quartet’s rise to fame, and the making of their debut LP, THE ALBUM. In an earlier announcement, YG Entertainment confirmed that each of the four members of BLACKPINK would release solo projects. Rosé marks the second member of the group to record her own material, following singer and rapper Jennie, who released her Korean/English-language track, “SOLO,” in 2018. BLACKPINK, which also features members Jisoo and Lisa, had an exceptional year – filled with multiple record-breaking achievements, and the release of THE ALBUM in October. Perhaps most notably, the group scored the biggest debut on the Billboard 200 by an all-female group in over a decade with their acclaimed LP, which landed at No.2.

While BLINKS are gearing up for BLACKPINK: The Show, which will be streamed live on January 31, the fandom is also anticipating Rosé's epic solo debut. Following the footsteps of Jennie, the 23-year-old singer is gearing up for her solo spotlight as Rosé will be performing a track from her upcoming album during BLACKPINK's first-ever online concert. Now, we may have gotten an idea as to which new song Rosé is set to perform during BLACKPINK: The Show. Yesterday, a 'Coming Soon' video teaser was unveiled with a glimpse at the melancholic music video for Rosé's sub-title track (as revealed by YG Entertainment to Kyunghyang Shinmun), which will be a part of her solo album. This means that there will be a separate lead single as well. In the music video teaser shared, we see a downtrodden Rosé dealing with the after-effects of intense heartbreak. "All my love is gone / All my love is gone / Now, you're dead and gone," Rosé's honey vocals belt out while the ending bit sees BLACKPINK: The Show's banner. Besides performing the sub-title track during the online concert, Rosé's aesthetic MV may drop on January 31 as well, at 2 pm KST (10:30 am IST).

It was finally the day BLINKS across the world were eagerly waiting for! BLACKPINK members Rosé, Jisoo, Lisa and Jennie brought the house down with BLACKPINK: The Show. The group's first online concert was nothing less than a treat for BLINKS who've been waiting to watch the ladies set the stage on fire for weeks now. While it was expected that the members would perform some of their hit tracks along with songs from their latest release, The Album, fans were also waiting for Rosé's debut performance on Gone and boy, it was worth the wait! The singer was seated on a white swing while she crooned the heartbreaking song. Emotional fans celebrated Rosé's solo debut and cheered the singer on. While Rosé moved fans with her performance, Lisa took the fandom by surprise when she stepped out to perform Doja Cat's famous Say So. Adding her own zing to the song, the rapper left everyone talking with her sensual performance. If that wasn't enough, fans were taken aback with her rap in Love To Hate Me. Lisa proved she's one of the best rappers around with the impressive rap set. While Lisa covered Say So, Jisoo left viewers weak on their knees when she stepped out to perform Tove Lo's hit song Habits (Stay High). The singer, who will soon make her acting debut with Snowdrop, seated on one side of the stage, lending her voice via the international song while performers unfolded the tension and drama on the other side of the stage. Like Lisa, Jisoo too added her own elements into the English track. Jennie too left BLINKS gushing when she performed Solo. She introduced a new rap verse in the song and absolutely owned the stage as she performed the song. The group also came together to perform Pretty Savage and Sour Candy.

Rosé of BLACKPINK has announced that March 12 will be the release date for her solo debut project. The K-pop group's social media accounts shared two images with the date and hashtags #TEASERPOSTER #20210312 #RELEASE on Monday (March 1). Some fans, though, were confused about the actual date of the release, wondering whether the project is coming March 12 or in December. "WE GOTTA WAIT TILL DECEMBER 3RD? ?" one Blink tweeted in response to the announcement. While the title has not yet been revealed, one of the preview images had a few words in English embedded into its hazy image, in which the singer -- in a flowing red dress -- walks against a smoke-filled background. Just barely visible through the smoke under the K-pop icon's name in huge letters are the words "No Way Out" and "You Are Now..." BLACKPINK's Jennie Shouts Out Blinks in 'Solo' Vlog From 'The Show' Virtual Concert The singer gave a sneak preview of the solo effort during January's livestream concert, The Show, during which she performed the track "Gone." A recent teaser trailer for the "Gone" video featured the 25-year-old artist lying on the floor of a bathroom, and also staring blankly into the distance as she sat at a dinner table set for one. The Show acted as a spotlight for the group's hits such as "Hod You Like That," "Sour Candy," "Kill This Love" and "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du." But it was also a chance for the quartet -- Rosé, Lisa, Jisoo and Jennie -- to show their personalities, as when Jennie revamped her "Solo" single and Rosé busted out a clip from the "Gone" video, as well as a live snippet of the song that appeared to be sung fully in English.

Blackpink's Rosé has curated an eclectic playlist for International Women's Day (March 8) via Apple Music.
The playlist, dubbed "ROSÉ: Visionary Women," features selections from SZA, Jorja Smith, Astrid S, Nina Simone, Mariah Carey and Rihanna. The 25-song roster also spotlights songs from Amy Winehouse ("Love is a Losing Game"), Sabrina Claudio ("Confidently Lost"), Jenevieve ("Medallion"), TLC ("No Scrubs") and several group and solo tracks from Blackpink, including "Lovesick Girls."
Winehouse's “Love Is a Losing Game” is the “saddest song ever,” as Rosé tells Apple Music. “It hurts my heart every time I hear it. I think that being able to be vulnerable is the most independent thing someone can be at times, and I commend her for her honesty and transparency in this song. We can all relate to her, and that’s why we all love her.”
