DJ Snake and Selena Gomez have dropped their new track “Selfish Love.” The song includes both Spanish and English and follows the pair’s 2018 collaboration “Taki Taki,” which also included Cardi B and Ozuna. That one appeared on Snake’s 2019 album Carte Blanche. Gomez’s most recent music signals a return to her Latin roots. At the top of the year, the singer released the Spanish-language cut “De Una Vez,” and the single and accompanying video for “Baila Conmigo.” Her Spanish-language EP Revelación is due on March 12, and is executive produced by Tainy and NEON16. Among Gomez’s other Spanish-language tracks are “Un Año sin Lluvia,” an alternate version of “A Year Without Rain,” and a duet of Selena Quintanilla’s hit song “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom.” Listen to DJ Snake and Gomez’s “Selfish Love” at the top.

No one has to tell me You talk to other girls that are not me And I must confess that seeing it Baby, it makes me want to have you
Just a little crush Got me over here thinkin' "Does somebody else care, somebody else care?" I know we got trust But you be gettin' me thinkin' "Does somebody else care, somebody else care?"
You want to make me jealous All this time and we still got that selfish love You like makin' me jealous (I like makin' you jealous) It’s a game that’s between you and I You and I, you and I
Yeah, yeah You know we got trust Yeah Yeah
It’s obvious how they look at me They mark their territory This secret is between the two of us I know it makes you want to have me (It makes you want to have me)
I get just a little rush When you're over there thinkin' "Does somebody else care, somebody else care?" (Ooh, ooh) You know we got trust But then again you thinkin' "Does somebody else care, somebody else care?"
I like making you jealous All this time and we still got that selfish love I like makin' you jealous (I like makin' you jealous) It’s a game that’s between you and I You and I, you and I
Yeah, yeah You know we got trust Yeah Yeah

After their hit collaboration Taki Taki, DJ Snake and Selena Gomez have teamed up for ‘Selfish Love’. The music video has been directed by award-winning filmmaker Rodrigo Saavedra, which depicts Gomez as the owner of a colorful, surreal hair salon. The bilingual single, in Spanish and English, will be included on Gomez’s upcoming Revelación EP, set to release on March 12. For much of the video, Selena wears an eighties-style floral dress selected by stylist Kate Young, as she operates an eerie beauty parlour, complete with hair curtains, wallpaper clad dancers and singing mannequins. DJ Snake told Rollingstone, “With the whole world being separated from each other I kept looking and working only on pure good vibes. I wanted to make music for the world and mix all my favorite influences of Afro Beat, Latin music, something that felt grounded and organic. Selena and I had been talking and after ‘Taki Taki’ we had to give the world another round with fresh summer vibes. Something that made it feel like summer the first time you heard it. ‘Selfish Love’ came very naturally for us and I think it’s the perfect evolution for our history together.” The single is Gomez’s third Spanish track of the year so far, having kicked things off with ‘De Una Vez’ in January. The song was her first Spanish language single in a decade and was quickly followed by ‘Baila Conmigo’, featuring Rauw Alejandro.
