In an exclusive interview, George Zimmerman’s estranged wife, Shellie, tells TODAY’s Matt Lauer that “I have doubts but I also believe the evidence” presented in the trial for the shooting of Trayvon Martin. She also says that she regrets not pressing charges after a Sept. 9 private dispute with her husband. In the midst of divorce proceedings against husband George Zimmerman, Shellie Zimmerman said she has doubts about what really happened in the shooting death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin last year, she told Matt Lauer in an exclusive interview. "I'm conflicted on that,'' Shellie told Lauer on TODAY Thursday. "I believe the evidence, but this revelation in my life has really helped me take the blinders off and start to see things differently." **** "So you now doubt his innocence, at least the fact that he was acting in self-defense on the night that Trayvon Martin was killed?" "I think anyone would doubt that innocence because I don't know the person that I've been married to," Shellie responded. "I have doubts, but I also believe the evidence."

George Zimmerman was arrested Monday in connection with a disturbance call in Apopka, Florida, according to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office.Investigators announced just last week that Zimmerman would not be charged after a previous alleged domestic dispute that occurred in September with his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman. Channel 9 learned Zimmerman's girlfriend told authorities he broke a table and pointed a long-barreled shotgun at her during a verbal dispute at her home on Topfield Court. On top of the felony assault charge, Zimmerman also faces battery and criminal mischief charges, according Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. During a news conference Monday, Lemma wouldn't say what sparked the argument at the home, but they confirmed no one was injured. When deputies arrived, Zimmerman appeared to have barricaded himself in the home after pushing the woman outside, officials said. However, officials said Zimmerman removed the barricade and showed no aggression toward deputies during their investigation.

She hopes that ‘no one else will be hurt.’ Shellie Zimmerman says her estranged husband George Zimmerman is acting “like a ticking time-bomb.” The Florida woman stood by Zimmerman’s side until he was acquitted of murdering of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. But now that they’ve separated and are heading toward divorce, Shellie Zimmerman admitted to Katie Couric that the man has “snapped” and is behaving “like a monster.” Shellie Zimmerman admitted that George is acting ‘like a monster.’ She has filed for divorce. “I don't know who George is anymore," the 27-year-old said on Thursday during an interview on Couric’s show “Katie.” "I like to think I married a person who was a good person, and going through the past year and a half, I don't know how that changes a person, or how a person's spirit breaks, but it certainly seems that's what happened to him." The murder trial and all the national media attention that came with it has turned the 30-year-old man into a “pacing lion,” she said. But she still doesn’t think he’s a racist.
