Piers Morgan insisted that Meghan Markle has received “no worse” treatment from the press than Princess Diana and other royals — after she suggested that the racism she has endured has made her experience incomparable. In a lengthy piece in the Mail on Sunday, the former TV show host claimed that others who married into the royal family have received similar scrutiny. “Meghan’s had no worse media treatment than other Royal brides such as Diana, Fergie, Kate, Camilla or even that other Monarchy-rattling American divorcee, Wallis Simpson,” Morgan wrote. “But she’s the first to claim negative press has been motivated by racism, and it’s a very dangerous charge to make with so little to back it up.” Markle opened up about the differences in her experience with the media during her bombshell interview earlier this month with Oprah Winfrey. “If members of his family say, ‘Well, this is what happened to all of us’ or if they can compare what the experience that I went through was similar to what has been shared with us — Kate was called ‘Waity Katie’ waiting to marry William,” she said, referring to Kate Middleton’s courtship with Princess Willian. “While I imagine that was really hard, and I do, I can’t picture what that felt like. This is not the same,” continued Markle, whose mother is black and father is white. “Rude and racist are not the same. And equally, you’ve also had a press team that goes on the record to defend you, especially when they know some things are not true. And that didn’t happen for us,” she said.

A day after expressing his willingness to consider returning to the "Good Morning Britain" show, Piers Morgan has issued a warning to Meghan Markle in his Daily Mail column.
The TV presenter claimed that he has never been more popular since his ongoing row with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Taking aim at the Duchess of Sussex, he wrote, "She thinks she’s beaten me? She might be in for a surprise because I suspect I’ll be back soon. And my views certainly haven’t changed."
Morgan added, "If Meghan thinks she has cancelled me or won the battle, she is in for a big shock. I’ve never been more popular."
The TV anchor lost his job after attacking Meghan following the royal couple's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey.
The US-based royal couple had levelled some serious allegations against the British Royal family during their interview.
Days after the interview, Prince Harry had returned to the United Kingdom to attend the funeral prayers of his grandfather Prince Philip.

It isn’t a day of royal family news unless there’s some expert out there criticizing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the umpteenth time. So today, we are here to talk about the U.K. Change.org petition that is demanding that the Duke of Sussex hand over those royal titles so that he can “indulge his personal beliefs” and just call himself a private citizen once and for all.
The petition was started by royal expert Lady Colin Campbell, who wrote the book, Meghan and Harry: The Real Story. She aims her message solely at Harry; there isn’t even a mention of the Duchess of Sussex. “I started it (the petition) because I think it’s the right thing to do,” she told The Daily Star, via the Independent. “I have spoken to people, many people, who think it’s the right thing to do and it is the solution.” As of right now, almost 35,000 people agree with her.
Lady Campbell’s message to Harry isn’t vicious, though. She’s making her thoughts known because she believes that if he hands in his titles, it “will resolve conflicts that would otherwise be inevitable.” She wants him “to enjoy the credit of having put both national and international interests above his own, personal ones” and allow him to gain the “respect that he otherwise will not enjoy,” according to the petition.
The royal author isn’t the only one calling for Harry to step down from his royal titles — Piers Morgan has been squawking about the same thing. He told The Sun wants the stateside couple to be “stripped of their titles” for “trashing the institution and causing a lot of damage in the Commonwealth.” We think that the last person Harry and Meghan will be listening to is the controversial talk show host.

Piers Morgan is set to attack Meghan Markle’s “downright lies” in an upcoming interview with Australia’s “60 Minutes.” The former “Good Morning Britain” anchor sat down with journalist Karl Stefanovic to discuss his war on cancel culture as well as his ongoing battle with the Duchess of Sussex, with whom he’s been fighting since she allegedly ghosted him and their friendship. “I don’t believe a word she says,” Morgan, 56, said of Markle, 39, in a sneak peek at Sunday’s episode. Looking back on the “Suits” alum’s since-refuted claim that she and Harry, 36, had secretly married days before their royal wedding in May 2018, Morgan added, “They were downright lies. … That [ceremony] would make the Archbishop of Canterbury a criminal.” It’s ironic that Morgan sat down with Stefanovic, as the Nine Network presenter, 46, has been one of Markle’s staunchest defenders. Stefanovic also once called Morgan “disgraceful.” In the clip from their interview, the TV personalities butted heads after Morgan claimed that Markle was pretending to be in love with Harry. “I’ve got something to say about that,” Stefanovic replied. “I think that’s disgraceful. I think she is an amazing, amazing woman. I think she is doing her very best at the moment, and she’s got a lot on her plate. She’s doing it so beautifully. She’s such a great export for Great Britain.” Turning his ire on Morgan, Stefanovic added, “I mean, what is that guy on? He’s lost the plot completely. “I don’t know how his poor co-host puts up with it. Imagine putting up with a dude like that who is so up himself and so egotistical that he would assume to say those things about her?” Morgan quit “Good Morning Britain” in March after he stormed off the set during a heated discussion about Markle and Harry.
