Satyricon au Hellfest (2015) - ARTE Concert
In twenty years of career, the group has risen from the abyss of its beginnings to an almost atmospheric sketch. This continuous renewal linked to a beautiful longevity, have made Satyricon one of the most respected bands in the black metal scene.
Since the early 90s, Satyricon has revolved around the pair formed by Satyr and Frost. Ignoring purists and expectations, these two impregnable leaders are constant in change. For them, each new album is indeed an opportunity to evolve. Thus, from Dark Medieval Times (1993) to their last eponymous album (2013), only the extremely accessible character of their music remains.

Testament au Hellfest (2019) - ARTE Concert
Testament is an emblematic group of thrash metal and the Bay Area movement in particular. Chuck Belly and his clique are true pioneers of the genre. Can't wait to find these living legends two years after we first met at Hellfest? Definitely!
Testament was born from the ashes of another group: Legacy. At the end of this renaissance, the combo unites around its current leader, the charismatic Chuck Billy. Since its inception in 1983, the geometry of Testament has continued to evolve. The history of the group would also make a superb soap opera metal as it has known many departures, arrivals, disputes, reversals ... (Netflix, if you read us.) Despite these internal setbacks, Testament remains a legend of thrash, just like Metallica, Slayer or Megadeth. The worldwide recognition of Testament is notably due to the impressive number of completely cult albums! This discography culminates since 2016 with Brotherhood of the Snake, the twelfth opus of the group. So the mainstage audience? Do you feel ready to face such heavyweights? We will quickly check that!
Concert captured on June 23, 2019 at Hellfest, Clisson.

Jinjer au Hellfest 2021 - ARTE Concert
SETLIST: On The Top Pit Of Consciousness I Speak Astronomy Judgement (& Punishment) Ape Retrospection Perennial Teacher, Teacher! Sit Stay Roll Over Home Back The Prophecy Vortex
The members of Jinjer are the great ambassadors of metal from Ukraine. Carried by the voice and charisma of singer Tatiana Shmailyuk, the band brings their progressive groove metal to the four corners of the globe. The band stops at Hellfest From Home to delight us with its lines as changeable as the Breton weather.
The Jinjer adventure begins a little over ten years ago now. The geometry of the group has changed considerably since its birth, its line up having been completely renewed. Since 2017, the band has been formed by Tatiana Shmailyuk on vocals, Roman Ibramkhalilov on guitar, Eugene Abdiukhanov on bass and Vladislav Ulasevich on drums. This new generation Jinjer released in 2019 Macro, an album taking over from the opuses Inhale, Don 't Breathe (2012), Cloud Factory (2014) and King Of Everything (2016). Composed and recorded on tour, this new album with its intense sound and breathtaking technique was produced by Max Morton. As often with Jinjer, it is Tatiana Shmailyuk's voice that stands out the most, the singer being able to go from caressing to uppercut with a snap of the vocal chord.
Concert recorded in May 2021 on the Hellfest site, Clisson.

#LAURACOX #HELLFESTFROMHOME
SETLIST : Hard Blues Shot Bad Luck Blues Too Nice for Rock'n'Roll Last Breakdown Looking Upside Down Fire Fire Australian Way As I Am Heartbreaker If You Wanna Freaking Out Loud
With Laura Cox, rockers around the world have found a sacred standard-bearer. Considered one of the best guitarists in France, the musician comes to Hellfest From Home to roar her explosive classic rock. Girl power!
Laura Cox first made her mark on Youtube, notably through covers of Fall Out Boy, The Offspring, Dire Straits and Red Hot Chilli Peppers. After having accumulated millions of views and acquired a solid fanbase around the world, the guitarist left her bedroom in 2013 to found her own group. Oh the great idea! Four years later, Laura Cox and her cronies released their first album: Hard Blues Shot. This opus associating all the influences of the group - namely Aerosmith, AC / DC, ZZ Top or even Lynyrd Skynyrd, that heavy in short - meets a nice success and allows the band to rub shoulders with a lot of festivals. Laura Cox drives the point home in 2019 with a second album called Burning Bright. There, the guitarist tries out even more southern blues colors. Unsurprisingly, this is once again a success.

Frustration au Hellfest 2021 - ARTE Concert
SETLIST : Full Of Sorrow Dreams, Laws, Rights And Duties Pulse It’s Gonna Be The Same We Miss You No Trouble When Does A Banknote Start To Burn? Excess Brume Pepper Spray On The Rise Le Grand Soir Assassination Too Many Questions Blind
As the music world has been torn between conservative Joy Division fans and reformist New Order supporters since Ian Curtis passed away, a small group of fundamentalists worship the original group: Warsaw. Among these obscure worshipers? Frustration. We dive into their cold wave made in France at the Hellfest From Home.
Frustration was born in 2002 under the leadership of five Parisians: Fabrice Gilbert (vocals), Mark Adolf (drums), Emmanuel Blervaque (bass, replaced since 2015 by Pat D), Fred Campo (keyboards) and Nicus Duteil (guitar) . Since then, five albums have been added to their discography, from Relax in 2008 to So Cold Streams in 2019.Despite many comparisons to Joy Division, The Fall, and The Wire, Frustration is endowed with an impressive ability to impose its mark. A sharp, dark and tenacious sound indeed sets the band apart. The five paladins of the Born Barn Records label shine through their intense and raw music, shining with a renewed freedom and energy on the occasion of the release of their fifth opus. So we have a little juice on the occasion of their visit to Clisson.
