Figure skater Alina Gorbacheva became the winner of the junior championship of Russia. In the sum of two programs, Gorbachev scored 224.41 points. She was ahead of Veronika Zhilina, who finished second with 218.79 points, although she was in 9th position after the short program. The third place was taken by Maria Gordeeva (213.02).
