Giants mascot Lou Seal knew Crawford would hit home run originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea.
Before Brandon Crawford even connected on his mammoth home run in the Giants' win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night, Lou Seal seemed to have a premonition (h/t Jomboy Media).
The morning after, Lou Seal's Twitter account credited his experience around the Giants for "just knowing" the pitch to Crawford was going to result in something great.
Crawford's 407-foot blast padded the Giants' lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, although a dominant performance from Logan Webb and strong outings from Tyler Rogers and Camilo Doval kept the elite Dodgers offense from getting any runs across Friday night.
After hearing MVP chants leading up to the opener of the NLDS, Crawford proved just how valuable he is to the Giants, both with his bat and his glove.
The series continues on Saturday night with Game 2 from Oracle Park.
