The Little Mix ladies have finally premiered their brand spankin' new single Black Magic, and we're so overcome with emotion we accidentally just WhatsApped Percy from the postroom about 378 party horn emojis. Yup - so basically the girls' new Ed Drewett-penned track leaked online yesterday, but because it wasn't really fair we sort of just ignored the whole thing had happened. One quite good thing to come out of the whole debacle, though, is that Jade, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jesy premiered the track ahead of their planned date (May 26th) this morning on Capital FM. Oh, and it's all kinds of '80s awesome. Now it sort of goes without saying that the Little Mix gals can do literally no wrong in our eyes; and Black Magic might just be our fave tune of theirs yet. Going for a totally different vibe to the Salute album, the proper pop bop is sort of the musical equivalent of throwing glitter in the air and dancing about in it like a crazy kid. It kinda sounds like one of your mum's old Bananarama CDs mixed with the stompy bits of Taylor Swift's Shake It Off, and you can get your ears round it right here. What d'ya make of Little Mix's comeback track, then? Bit different for 'em, no? Tweets over @sugarscape would be bloody lovely, please and a-thank you.

Ladies all across the world, listen up, we're looking for recruits here to bring some especially GOOD NEWS to your weekend. No, sorry, we're not the ice cream man in disguise. Unless the ice cream man now carries details of what Little Mix's new album will sound like (80s, apparently). OH CAN WE JUST STOP TO IMAGINE THAT FOR A SEC. Enjoying a Mr Whippy while Mr Ice Cream Van Man blasts 'Move' from his stereo? What a bloody brilliant day that would be, eh? ANYWHO. Yep, the girlies have revealed that their new album is going to have an '80s' vibe', and while the main work is finished, there's a few details that they're still working on. If one of those details could be making that album appear on our desks at 9am tomorrow morning, that would be great thanks. After already showing off the artwork for their brand new single Black Magic (May 26, y'all), and the single itself getting Simon Cowell's seal of approval, Leigh-Anne Pinnock has been teasing us about what we can expect from their new LP. She told the Daily Star: "We've just finished it but are still in talks about possible collaborations. We've always said Nicki Minaj would be the dream. "The album has an 80s vibe. Not cheesy 80s – it's more like Prince, that kind of cool sound. We've all stepped it up vocally for this album. "I know everyone always says it but I think this one is our best yet."

Little Mix usually look incredibly cool or uber glam, but they've gone geek on us for their new music video. The girl band, who have filmed the promo for their latest track Black Magic, turned to Katy Perry for inspiration and dressed up as school nerds. Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson look almost unrecognisable in frumpy clothing which is a far cry from their usual pop star wardrobes. The girls wore a clash of colours for their kooky looks and held onto their school books as they strolled through the school grounds for the video. Little Mix have not released an album since Salute in 2013 and Jesy explained it was because they scrapped an entire albums worth of songs because they felt they weren't good enough to release. She said: "We've been away a while because we wrote an album, sat with the record label and we thought, 'Nope, it's not good enough'.

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past 24 hours you will probably be aware that Caitlyn Jenner made her stunning debut in a super classy photoshoot for Vanity Fair last night. And promptly broke the Internet. So obviously when we caught up with the equally gorgeous Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirwall of Little Mix for an exclusive chat, we just had to discuss how Caitlyn's bravery has impacted the world. "She is so pretty," Leigh-Anne gushed. "Oh my goodness, Caitlyn looks incredible," Jade added, "I just think that it's all so brave as well, it's amazing that she has done this. "She is representing transgender people all over the world now, people who didn't feel confident enough to come out and talk about it. "Now hopefully they can, and not feel ashamed." Needless to say, we could not agree more. With the girls currently championing girl power and confidence in the music video for their new super catchy single, 'Black Magic', Leigh-Anne goes on to add just how important it is to have that faith in yourself.

The ladies show just how powerful their vocals are in this acoustic version of their new hit. We've ALWAYS known those ladies from Little Mix were a talented bunch, but they've just knocked an acoustic performance of their latest single out of the water! Hit play on the video above to see Leigh-Anne, Jade, Perrie and Jesy smashing an acoustic stripped back version of their new single 'Black Magic', with perfect vocals the whole way through. The Little Mix girls have been on fire lately with fresh content for all of their fans. Just last week they starred in their own mini-movie called 'The Strange Case Of Wilma & Betsy' which was, kinda amazing! On the cover of the forthcoming issue of Fabulous, The Sun‘s Sunday magazine, photographer Mark Hayman captures LM in outfits better suited for the Mad Max (or, more fittingly, “Mad Mix”) battlefield. Between studded gloves, chainlink shawls and enough leather macrame to put a tannery out of business, the ladies’ looks have certainly proven that just because they’ve cleaned up for now, they’re still perfectly capable of rolling around in the mud. “Possibly my fav shoot ever!!! We’re coming for ya mixers,” group member Leigh-Anne Pinnock captioned an Instagram rendering of the shot, and Perrie Edwards seemed to agree. We’re right there with ya, gals. And though the photo leaves us longing for the days of DNA, Little Mix said in a recent Digital Spy interview that they’re happy to shake things up.
