Pokémon fans can't get much more committed than by attending the Pokémon UK Nationals, which are being held this weekend. That's right – this is your chance to prove you’re an ACTUAL POKEMON MASTER. And it's not just a competition of the Pokémon card game either - the Nintendo 3DS game is in the VG Nationals AND the event is now home to the new Pokkén Tournament league. Yaaaasss! If you’re one of the many fans excited about the upcoming Pokémon Sun & Moon games but can't wait for the 18 November release date, a tournament might be just the thing to keep you ticking over. The Pokémon UK Nationals this year will be held at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool where all are welcome. Saturday will be the day where players are whittled down and knocked out while Sunday will be the big day for final showdowns. "Top players from the finals will be well on their way to earning invitations to the Worlds," says the Pokémon site.
