Prince Harry has accused the Royal Family of failing to defend his wife Meghan in the controversy over a Jeremy Clarkson newspaper column.
In an ITV interview, the Duke of Sussex said the "silence is deafening" about the "horrific" Sun article last month.
He contrasted this with the quick action taken after a race row at a Buckingham Palace reception.
Prince Harry also said he did not believe comments about his son's skin tone, by an unnamed royal, were racist.
The Clarkson article about Meghan had described how the columnist was "dreaming of the day when she is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant 'Shame!' and throw lumps of excrement at her".
Later taken down by the Sun and prompting an apology from the paper and Mr Clarkson, the article was described by Prince Harry as "horrific and hurtful and cruel towards my wife".
"The world is asking for some form of comment from the monarchy. But the silence is deafening. To put it mildly," he said.
"Everything to do with my wife, after six years, they haven't said a single thing."

If you had "the royal rift is totally over by the beginning of February" on your 2023 royal gossip bingo board, then we're very sorry about your failed prediction because the royal rift is very much still a ~thing.~
According to Us Weekly, Prince William is definitely not interested in making up with his estranged brother, Prince Harry, any time soon. In fact, Us Weekly's latest anonymous royal insider says Will just "wants to move on" in the aftermath of the release of Harry's jaw-dropping memoir, Spare. While there isn't any explicit clarification about what Will wants to move on from exactly, the rest of what the unnamed royal source had to say pretty much implies that the answer is "from even so much as speaking to Harry at all."
Will "has made no effort to speak to Harry" since Spare hit shelves, according to the insider. This isn't super surprising, ofc, considering the many, many explosive revelations in Spare (several of which painted unflattering pictures of Will and his wife, Kate Middleton, personally).
"William feels that Harry is all smoke and mirrors and is not to be trusted. He’s trying to move on with his life," the source explained, adding that "there has been a massive breach of trust" in light of Harry's "leaking" of some specific royal stories.
Of the Spare stories about Will, the one that's probably gotten the most attention is Harry's claim that William once physically attacked him over a disagreement about his now-wife, Meghan Markle.
According to Harry, the argument escalated quickly from verbal to physical when Will "called me another name, then came at me."
"It all happened so fast. So very fast," Harry wrote in Spare (per The Guardian). "He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out."

Prince Harry shares many personal stories in his sweeping memoir Spare — like the time he took magic mushrooms at Courteney Cox's Los Angeles home. The Duke of Sussex, 38, revealed in his bestselling book that he is a "Friends fanatic" and took comfort in the hit NBC sitcom while navigating panic attacks after completing his second tour of Afghanistan a decade ago. Harry wrote in Spare that he became anxious around crowds and cameras after returning to London, so he started staying home. "Day after day, night after night, I sat around eating takeaway, watching 24. Or Friends. I think I might've watched every episode of Friends in 2013. I decided I was a Chandler," he said. Elsewhere in the text, he admitted, "People often speculated that I was clinging to my bachelor life because it was so glamorous. Many evenings I'd think: if only they could see me now. Then I'd go back to folding my underwear and watching 'The One with Monica and Chandler's Wedding.' " Prince Harry said that his anxieties escalated and that he "stopped going out" entirely in 2014.
