Three-time Emmy-nominated actress Arianne Zucker speaks with CNN's Anderson Cooper about the "Access Hollywood" tape and President Donald Trump's reported skepticism of its authenticity.
On October 7, 2016, one month before the United States presidential election, The Washington Post published a video and accompanying article about then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and television host Billy Bush having "an extremely lewd conversation about women" in 2005. Trump and Bush were in a bus on their way to film an episode of Access Hollywood, a show owned by NBCUniversal. In the video, Trump described his attempt to seduce a married woman and indicated he might start kissing a woman that he and Bush were about to meet.
It features audio of Trump talking with Billy Bush, then co-anchor of Access Hollywood, on a bus embellished with the show's name. Trump and Bush were wearing microphones, which recorded their casual conversation. Trump was later described as "apparently aware at the time that he was being recorded by a TV program".
According to an Access Hollywood spokesperson, there were seven other people on the bus: a camera crew of two, the bus driver, the show's producer, a production assistant, Trump's security guard, and Trump's public relations representative. Upon arriving at the lot, the camera crew was let off the bus so they could record Trump and Bush disembarking and meeting with Arianne Zucker, who portrayed Nicole Walker on the soap opera and appeared alongside Trump in the episode in which he guest starred.
I moved on her, and I failed. I'll admit it.
And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, "I'll show you where they have some nice furniture." I took her out furniture—I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn't get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she's now got the big phony tits and everything. She's totally changed her look.

Trump dismissed claims made by former advice columnist E. Jean Carroll that she was sexually assaulted by him in the dressing room of the luxury Manhattan department store Bergdorf Goodman years ago. Trump claimed he did not know Carroll. And when asked if the case disqualified him from being president, he responded that his polling numbers “went up.” The CNN town hall comes just one day after a federal jury in Manhattan found Trump liable for sexual battery and defamation and awarded Carroll $5 million in damages. Trump was not found liable for rape. Trump’s attorney said they planned to appeal. Trump went on to joke about Carroll’s claims and called it a “fake story.” Trump also defended his most infamous comments, made in an Access Hollywood videotape uncovered just before the 2016 election, that when you’re a star women “let you do” anything, including “grab ‘em by the p—.” “I can take it back if you’d like to, but if you’re a famous person, if you’re a star — and I’m not referring to myself, I’m saying people that are famous, people that are stars, people that are rich, people that are powerful, they tend to do pretty well in a lot of different ways, okay?” Trump said. “I can’t take it back because it happens to be true. I’ve said it’s been true for 1 million years, approximately 1 million years, maybe a little longer than that.” www.politico.com/news/2023/05/10/trump-once-more-refuses-to-admit-election-defeat-00096352
