Matthew Perry's official death certificate has been released. On Thursday, The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health revealed the "Friends" actor's cause of death has been deferred after he was found dead in his hot tub on Oct. 28. In the certificate obtained by Access Hollywood, officials state that an autopsy has been performed, but authorities told NBC News last month the initial findings are inconclusive pending toxicology results. The document also states that the 54-year-old was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles. His final resting place is near the Warner Bros. Studios lot where he filmed his hit sitcom for a decade. A private funeral service was held for Matthew on Nov. 3.

Matthew Perry’s death certificate reveals more details about the “Friends” star’s shocking passing at the age of 54. Perry’s stepdad, “Dateline” journalist Keith Morrison, 76, is listed as the informant who provided details for his death certificate, which was obtained by The Post. The certificate states that Perry died at 4:17 p.m. at his California home. As The Post previously reported, the actor was found by a bystander submerged in his hot tub. Perry was unresponsive at the scene by the time first responders arrived. The person who called 911 has not been identified, but TMZ reported that the bystander was Perry’s assistant. The certificate, which the Blast first obtained, lists Perry’s occupation as an “actor” in the “entertainment” industry, which he had been for 38 years. His official cause of death is still to come, pending toxicology reports, but initial toxicology reports found that the star did not have meth or fentanyl in his system at the time of his death. Dr. Michael Baden, former chief medical examiner of New York City, noted in an interview Friday that a full toxicology report could already be complete. “They’ve got pretty much 99% of what they’re going to get at this point as far as information goes, and they can release it now, or they can wait for a couple more weeks because they’re looking for some unknown drug,” Baden told Fox News Digital.

Matt LeBlanc is speaking out for the first time following Matthew Perry's death. The "Friends" alum took to Instagram on Nov. 14 to share a tribute for his late comedic co-star. "Matthew It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life. It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend.
I will always smile when I think of you and I'll never forget you. Never. Spread your wings and fly brother you're finally free. Much love. And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me," he penned alongside many screen grabs from their hit series. The last pic in Matt's carousel of sentimental photos was a candid shot of the pair with the "Friends" cast, including Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox and David Schwimmer, huddled into a group hug. Matthew died on Oct. 28 at his home in Los Angeles. On Nov. 9, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health revealed his cause of death had been deferred.
