The First Lady was believed to be replaced by the body double during a visit to Arlington National Cemetery on May 23 with US President Donald Trump. But the bizarre theories have been rubbished by Melania's press secretary Stephanie Grisham. Ms Grisham attacked the “ridiculous” claims denying their existence and asking why attention has focused on such a “non-story”. She said: “Once again, we find ourselves consumed with a ridiculous non-story when we could be talking about the work the First Lady is doing on behalf of children, including the opioid crisis that is gripping our nation.” Melania Trump placed American flags on war graves ahead of Memorial Day on Tuesday. She is seen wearing a black utility dress with black sunglasses. But social media users were quick to claim Mrs Trump had used a body double.

Melania Trump dazzled in a pale pink cape dress while she and her husband, President Donald Trump, dined with the Japanese emperor and empress at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Monday. It is the president and first lady's second visit to Japan since they entered the White House, and they had the honor of being the first foreign guests of Emperor Naruhito and his wife, Empress Masako. For their six-source dinner at the palace, Melania, 49, opted for a $4,490 J. Mendel caftan gown featuring silver feather-embroidery and a cape that draped over her shoulders.

Melania Trump, 49, and husband Donald Trump, 72, were all smiles as they landed in the UK. The First Lady wore a navy skirt suit and white pussybow silk blouse - although many felt the shirt, which is £650 from Burberry, and suit choice made her look like a flight attendant. She wore her jacket over her shoulders - a style she favours, often choosing not to put her arms through coats and jackets. Melania's blouse could be seen under the jacket, and the red and gold pattern added a flash of colour to her otherwise simple attire. Melania's outfit choice is a change from the one she was photographed in as she left Washington to make her way to the UK. Setting off on the journey from Washington DC, the pair could be seen at the White House, walking towards Air Force One. Making a signal at their impending trip, with the First Lady opting for a London-themed dress. The garment is cream, and adorned with a green and orange pattern.

President Trump on Friday compared first lady Melania Trump to former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, saying, “we have our own Jackie O today, it’s called Melania.”
Trump made the comparison between his wife and the iconic first lady when defending his decision to paint the new Air Force One red, white and blue, replacing the baby blue color scheme picked by Kennedy Onassis in the 1960s.
“It was Jackie O and that’s good. But we have our own Jackie O today, it’s called Melania. Melania. We’ll call it Melania T, OK?” Trump said during an phone interview on “Fox & Friends.”
The president said the first lady is a big hit among his supporters, in part because of how she dresses.

If there's one wardrobe item so signature to Melania Trump's style, it's sunglasses. In fact, the first lady is rarely seen without a pair on and frequently opts for the accessory for any type of occasion, from trips aboard Air Force One to nighttime engagements to official state memorial services. Her most appearance at the 75th D-Day commemoration in Normandy, France, was even heavily criticized for her decision to keep her sunglasses on, a move that was slammed as "disrespectful" and "rude" given the somber occasion. "She tends to wear sunglasses and hats to shield herself from the public eye. As she's stated in previous interviews, she often feels as though she is being bullied," explained fashion psychologist Dawnn Karen to Mirror Online.
