The cafe opened a pop-up Los Angeles outpost — one of the first of its kind in the States — in July to a strong fan base and lots of sold out treats. Hopefully this marks a shift toward cartoon restaurants in the U.S. — Hong Kong has a Hello Kitty dim sum restaurant and Taiwan has a Hello Kitty hot pot spot, so why can’t we? The truck hasn’t finished its nationwide circuit yet. Catch the Hello Kitty Cafe truck at the following locations. For more tour news, keep up with the truck via Facebook or Instagram. September 17 — Bethesda, Md. @ Bethesda Row 24 — Charlotte, N.C. @ SouthPark October 1 — Atlanta, Ga. @ Atlantic Station 8 — Tampa, Fla. @ International Plaza and Bay Street
