Taylor Swift brought her Reputation Stadium Tour to Nashville, the place she says taught her everything she knows about being a musician, Saturday night (Aug. 25). Nashville proved to be the perfect setting for an incredible surprise: country greats Tim McGraw and Faith Hill both joined Swift onstage for an unforgettable performance of her debut single "Tim McGraw."
"When you think Tim McGraw," she sang, while casually pointing at Tim McGraw to her left, "I hope you think my favorite song."

Taylor Swift paid tribute to the late Aretha Franklin by asking for a moment of silence at her concert at Ford Files in Detroit, Michigan. “She did so much for music. She did so much for women’s rights. She did so much for civil rights,” said Swift. The 28-year-old gave a short speech on Franklin’s life and achievements. “Last week we lost an irreplaceable force. She was one of those people where no matter what you said, no matter what glowing positive thing you said about her, it would be an understatement. Words could never, ever describe how many things she did in her lifetime that made our world a better place. And this is her home,” Swift said.  |
