"Red" Pasadena, Calif., May 18
The Rose Bowl served as inspiration for Swift's B-stage surprise on her first of two nights at the venue. "Roses are red," she mused. Cue an acoustic take on "Red," the title track off of her 2012 album

http://instagr.am/p/BnNwt_GAOrl Taylor Swift is taking fan requests to heart this tour, sprinkling rare songs from her collection into the acoustic portion of her Reputation Stadium Tour set. Her surprise song choice at her latest concert, where she acknowledged that longtime fans want to hear old songs, was particularly touching. Saturday (Sept. 1) in Minneapolis, Minn., Swift played country balled "Tied Together With a Smile," a song from her 2006 self-titled, debut album that probably hasn't seen her stage for a good 10 years. "Hold on, baby, you're losing it/ The water's high, you're jumping into it/ And letting go, and no one knows/ That you cry, but you don't tell anyone/ That you might not be the golden one/ And you're tied together with a smile/ But you're coming undone," Swift sings on the poignant track that she once told a journalist she wrote "about one of my friends, who is this beauty queen, pageant princess — a gorgeous, popular girl in high school. Every guy wanted to be with her, every girl wanted to be her. I wrote that song the day I found out she had an eating disorder."

"Holy Ground" Seattle, Wash., May 22 "Holy Ground" is all about romanticizing the time you've shared with someone -- and an excellent selection to surprise an audience full of longtime, loyal fans with. "Tonight I'm gonna dance for all that we've been through," she sings. "But I don't wanna dance if I'm not dancing with you." http://instagram.com/p/BjO5HrXlZ3p "Teardrops on My Guitar" Denver, Colo., May 25 Swift's second single, released over a decade ago in 2007, is one she admitted she hasn't played "in 100 years." The singer-songwriter went back to basics with an acoustic performance of her song about unrequited high school love, and the crowd sang along to every sentimental word.

"Our Song" Chicago, June 1
Kicking it back to country, Swift surprised her fans on the Chicago B-stage with "Our Song," her third single off her debut album. Based on this clip, the classic from her canon had just about everyone singing along. Will she it "play it again"?

A few more thoughts about Taylor Swift’s two-night stand at U.S. Bank Stadium that ended Saturday: Swift is the first artist to play two nights at the Vikings stadium. She drew 98,773 concertgoers, many of whom were under the age of 10.Even if the Beyonce/Jay Z spectacle this summer at the Vikings stadium had more hype and widespread appeal, Swift’s was superior. The Bey/Jay presentation was an overlong 44-song soap-opera in which there was no evidence of their own personalities between songs. It was essentially a theater production that dragged on for nearly 3 ½ hours. While Swift’s two-hour, 24-song extravaganza had a theme of snakes ruining her reputation, the show felt personal, offering glimpses of Taylor the person instead of merely Taylor the megastar. If the Bey/Jay staging was theatrical, Taylor’s was more like a mammoth TV set, with the star hitting her marks to face the right camera at the right time with her expressive face -- and then being free to speak between songs.Swift’s staging was complex, ambitious and quite effective for a stadium.
