A brave little boy who has a terminal illness and can barely walk got to his feet and flung his arms around Prince Harry an an awards ceremony tonight. Ollie Carroll, five, from Cheshire, was born a healthy little boy but developed the rare genetic condition Battens Disease, for which there is no known cure, and will eventually leave him unable to walk, see, eat or breathe. As Harry sank to his knee to chat to him, Ollie, who has great difficulty in controlling his limbs, managed to pull himself up with the help of his mother and gave the royal a huge hug.

The Prince looked to see if the Royal Standard was flying above Buckingham Palace as he rode in a pod with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and guests, who have suffered psychological problems. Earlier the trio hosted a County Hall reception, organised by Heads Together, and each made a plea for society to recognise mental health problems are suffered by all and the sooner everyone reaches out to help the better. In total, William, Kate and Harry spent around 30 minutes on the London Eye.

To mark World Mental Health Day 2016, Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took a special ride in the London Eye. The royals spent the day talking to those who have managed to battle mental health issues thanks to the help of a family member or the support of a friend. Joking with the some of the guests during the 30 minute ride, Prince Harry pointed out one landmark in particular which he recognised: Buckingham Palace. As he checked to see whether the royal standard was flying above the Palace (a sign that his grandmother is at home) Harry told 48-year-old carer Theresa Cox to wave. Just one more example to add to the list of reasons why we love him.

The 32-year-old royal shared a sweet moment Thursday with a fellow ginger during a London ceremony honoring fallen police officers. The prince appears to be asking the young, snappily dressed boy with long red curls about his shoes.

Former Army captain Prince Harry is responding to claims that he said he was “furious” at the treatment of hundreds of British soldiers who are being investigated for alleged abuses in Iraq. Harry’s spokesman made a rare public denial concerning the report in The Sun on Monday, saying, “Prince Harry is passionate about work to support veterans and it will be a cause he champions for the rest of his life. He will always have been proud to have worn an Army uniform and knows first-hand the sacrifices servicemen and women make to protect their country. “Prince Harry was painted positively by the paper in this story, but thinks it’s only fair that people know the facts. He has not expressed views on this topic to anyone and he does not believe it would have been appropriate for a member of The Royal Family to have done so.”
