 Prince Harry has talked publicly for the first time about the mental health struggles he faced following his mother’s death in the hope it will help others overcome their own grief.  He revealed he sought counselling after two years of “total chaos” having spent nearly 20 years of “not thinking” about the death of Princess Diana.  Harry was 12 years old when she was killed in a car crash but he said it was not until his late 20s that he processed the grief. |

Visitors to the sprawling London complex that houses dozens of royals, including Prince William, Duchess Kate and Prince Harry, undergo a thorough security check and “follow strict protocol,” says a frequent guest. But on any given day, one mere mortal simply breezes past the guards. Harry’s girlfriend Meghan Markle “is waved right through,” a source shares in the new issue of Us Weekly. “Harry has made it clear she’s to be treated like everyone else who lives there.”  |

 Prince Harry was today joined by his American girlfriend Meghan Markle for their first ever public outing at an exclusive polo event in Ascot.  The beaming Suits actress, 35, who has been dating the fifth in line to the throne for ten months, clapped as she watched Harry play polo from the royal box.  The Los Angeles-born star looked impeccably stylish in a navy asymmetric dress by Antonio Berardi and white blazer as she proudly applauded from the balcony.  Despite initially trying to keep their romance under wraps, the outing at a formal occasion shows that their relationship is going from strength to strength. |

 The 32-year-old royal is now likely to take on the ceremonial position once the Duke of Edinburgh stands down from public duties. Prince Philip, 95, last week announced he will withdraw from public duties and has been ceremonial head of the Royal Marines since 1953.  The role has included regular visits to the marines on exercise in Norway and at the headquarters of 3 Commando Brigade in Plymouth. Sources say the office of Major General Rob Magowan, the Commandant General of the Corps, has approved the offer of the role and the Queen has the final decision. |

 The couple will be able to follow in the footsteps of the Queen and Prince Philip and William and Kate after the historic church confirmed the American actress’s former marriage would not bar her from marrying there.  A spokesman for Westminster Abbey said: “The Abbey follows the General Synod Ruling of 2002. Since then it has been possible for divorced people to be married in the Church of England.”  The spokesman also confirmed that Meghan’s Jewish background would not prevent her from having an “interfaith” marriage there. |
