Selena Gomez's new album will feature a song with Marshmello, the "Fetish" singer confirmed in a new radio interview.
Gomez spoke with San Diego's Energy 103.7 about her track with the DJ, which she teases is "beautiful" and "one of my favorite songs."
"It's really cool. It's kind of in that world, his world, and I'm stepping into it and bringing my style too," she said.
Gomez is staying mum about a release date for the Marshmello collab -- and, for that matter, one for her upcoming, as-yet-untitled LP, which she says is "on some level done."
Selena Gomez’s maddening, artful video for “Fetish” directed by Petra Collins dropped last month, and now the singer is sharing some behind the scenes shots on the making of the suburban nightmare visual.
On Thursday (Aug. 17) Gomez shared “Fetish (Behind the Scenes),” a never before seen look at clips of the star on set making her recent video. The new clip features footage from both the song’s tight lip synch video and the official video, showing some of the strangest scenes like Gomez squeezing peaches, applying lip stick, and moving about an ice-cold freezer.
She was left red-faced last week after a full-frontal naked photograph of her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber was posted on her Instagram page by hackers.
But Selena Gomez seemed to have put the drama behind her as she headed out to grab a takeout breakfast in New York City while celebrating Labor Day on Monday.
The singer, 25, kept things casual in an all-white ensemble as she picked up a selection of juices and coffees to share with musician boyfriend The Weeknd, 27.
Selena Gomez posted a firm statement Friday via Instagram in support of the DACA and against President Trump's recent decision to end it.
"My definition of dreamer is someone that thinks big and believes anything is possible," her statement reads. "The wonderful people being threatened by the unfortunate reversal of DACA are exactly that. Please call The White House, your local member of Congress and state Senators to let your voice be heard to defend DACA! You can find out how to reach out to your representatives here."
When she's not blowing up radio airwaves or touring the world, Selena Gomez is ruling Instagram. With 126 million followers, she is undeniably the queen of the social platform -- and as the first user to reach 100 million Insta followers last September, the 25-year-old is now being recognized in Time magazine's "Firsts" project.
Deemed as "The Tastemaker" for her Instagram accomplishment, Gomez shared a personal story about her mom's influence on where she is today and growing up pre-social media. Yet, her humble upbringing is part of the reason she's so invested in her fans and social following.
"I am glad I grew up in the time that I did. I think it’s really hard to be a kid now, especially with social media," she told the magazine. "I can’t imagine what it would be like to grow up with that. It’s already difficult to get up every day and just feel good about yourself without seeing the highlights of everyone else’s life. That’s why I like being vulnerable with my fans on social media. I like that they’ve seen my mistakes. I try to use that as a way to connect with them. That’s all I can do. I hope that they know that strength doesn’t mean that you have to put on a facade. Strength is being vulnerable."
