BORIS Johnson is set to move into Downing Street today - and will live with girlfriend Carrie Symonds. As revealed by The Sun last week, a Government spokesperson confirmed earlier that the couple will take the space above No11, seven days after he was confirmed as Tory leader. The new PM decided to take the four-bedroom apartment as his new home last week. A spokeswoman for the Prime Minister said:"The PM is officially moving in today and, yes, his partner will be living there." But the taxpayer won't be picking up the bill for any new furniture the couple need, No10 added. Carrie won't have any publicly funded staff working for either. But she did spend "some" of the weekend at Chequers, a No10 source confirmed to the Mail.

YESTERDAY saw Boris Johnson’s girlfriend Carrie Symonds pack up her bags and move to Downing Street with her PM partner. And it seems that Carrie may have been a little apprehensive of the move as sources claim she turned to former First Lady of the UK Samantha Cameron for advice. David Cameron’s wife lived on Downing Streer for six years until their departure in 2016 and so knows a thing or two about life at No10. Ahead of the move it is understood that Carrie got in touch with Sam Cam to ask for tips. A friend of the former PR guru told the Mail: “Sam Cam has been giving Carrie some advice on living in No 10. They're friends; she wants to help out.” Carrie and Boris Johnson moved into their new home yesterday with a Government spokesperson confirming that the couple will take the space above No11.

BORIS Johnson and Carrie Symonds have been snapped on a romantic date at a fancy Italian restaurant. The couple, who moved into Downing Street this week, enjoyed a night out at Mamma Mia in South West London, believed to be on Wednesday night.

Carrie Symonds, Boris Johnson's girlfriend, is taking on the rather difficult role that is being the partner of a world famous statesman. Though she is a professional herself, forging a very successful career in political PR, it is likely - considering this role - Carrie is fully aware of the expectations for the partner of a political leader. How will Carrie, a fashion fan, adapt her dress to fit the role? Will she take the lead from the likes of Kate Middleton and Melania Trump? Was her recent pink dress taken from these style rule books of these prominent women? Both Melania Trump and Kate Middleton have been spotted wearing bright pink on many occasions.

CARRIE Symonds was the epitome of First Lady elegance when she made her first official appearance with Boris Johnson on Monday. With her modest hemline and perfect public persona it was a far cry from her former PR girl days. And it seems that 31-year-old may have looked to Meghan Markle when it came to taking on the airs and graces needed for public spousal duties. Like the Duchess of Sussex, Carrie has been flung into a very public role, with her romance demanding that she’s on her best and most humble behaviour at all times.
