The longtime Voice coach is known for talking a lot on the NBC reality show, but she could barely get a word out after one contestant's Blind Audition on Monday night.
CammWess impressed all of the coaches with his unique cover of The Weeknd's "Earned It," prompting John Legend and Blake Shelton to turn their chairs. When the young singer introduced himself, he announced that he was turning 22 years old the following day—so newcomer Nick Jonas suggested they sing "Happy Birthday" to him.
The sweet gesture turned into an awkward moment near the end of the serenade when most of the coaches realized they hadn't caught the contestant's name. When it came time to say "happy birthday dear Camm," everything fell apart. Kelly ended up mumbling something unintelligible, Blake covered his face in embarrassment, and John stopped singing altogether.

Kelly Clarkson has proven herself to be the master of covers with her Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show. And on Tuesday (Mar. 10), she showed off her skills once again with her newest interpretation.
On the latest episode of the superstar's daytime talk show, Clarkson took a stab at Halsey's "Graveyard," adding her own rocked-out spin to the synth-pop single. Dressed in a silky, Dalmatian-spotted black and white dress, the star started off the song in a pretty familiar vein, with the song's memorable acoustic guitar riff and accented synth notes taking center stage.
"You can think again/ When the hand you wanna hold is a weapon and/ You're nothin' but skin," she crooned.

Kelly Clarkson made a major blunder during last night’s (March 23) episode of The Voice as the infamous battle rounds got underway. The singer had a bit of a mix-up during a battle between Blake Shelton‘s acts as she attempted to get contestant Todd Michael Hall on Team Kelly after he faced off against Joei Fulco. http://instagram.com/p/B9h_jUmgOwj Things got a bit awkward for the mom of two after the two singing hopefuls performed “The Best” by Tina Turner in a heated battle, as reported by Talent Recap. Blake eventually chose Joei as the winner of the battle, which would ordinarily have meant that Todd was eliminated from the competition. However, the country star dramatically chose to use his only save of the season on Todd at the very last minute, meaning he gets to continue on in the competition. But, Blake pressed his button only a split second before Kelly pressed hers in the hopes of stealing Todd to get him on her team. Kelly didn’t seem to notice that Blake had already pressed his button, meaning Todd was sticking with Team Blake. The singer got up out of her red spinning chair to give Todd a big hug, seemingly thinking that he was now a member of Team Kelly. http://instagram.com/p/B-GHNV_gZO7 The rest of the coaches, Blake, John Legend, and Nick Jonas, all looked on in confusion as John pointed at the “God’s Country” singer and shouted, “No! You got the save.” “Was she going to steal?” Blake then asked as he let out a laugh while Kelly — who rece

The Voice battle rounds are underway, and Monday night's (March 30) episode saw Team Kelly stars Gigi Hess and Micah Iverson face off with a performance of Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved." The chemistry was clear as the two belted out the emotional lyrics, and ended their performance with a warm embrace. "Gigi, you have a brokenness that’s also very beautiful," coach Kelly Clarkson told them. "Everything kind of bleeds through your voice, which I am so attracted to. And Micah, I actually love your falsetto. It gets so passionate that it almost feels like you’re on the verge of tears."

The Voice Twitter erupted last Monday night over coach Kelly Clarkson's decision when it came to Gigi Hess and Micah Iverson's face-off.
Now that Kelly and the rest of The Voice coaches — John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Nick Jonas — have selected their teams, they're being forced to cut their members down by nearly half during the battle rounds. As fans of the show know, a battle round includes two singers from the same team performing a duet together. The loser of the round is sent packing ... unless the coach decides to use their one save or another coach tries to steal that performer for their own team.
After seeing how beautifully both Micah and Gigi took on Lewis Capaldi's "Someone You Loved", fans were convinced that whoever lost the battle would end up getting saved or stolen. Turns out, viewers were wrong: Kelly ultimately chose Micah, and Gigi didn't get a second look from the rest of the panel.
Apparently, many viewers disagreed with Kelly's call to not save Gigi. Moreover, many saw John, Blake, and Nick's inaction to steal her for their teams as a "huge, huge mistake!!!"
