Anyone who watches Selena + Chef is well aware of Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez's friendship: On the show, Swift FaceTimed Gomez to congratulate her on a job well done with a recipe. A friend who supports your gourmet-food endeavors is a good friend indeed. Gomez has Swift's back, too.
On Friday, Gomez posted on her Instagram story to congratulate Swift on the re-recording of her original 2009 song "Love Story."
"So proud of you, as always, Tay...LISTEN to THIS album ❤️," she wrote.
This week, Swift dropped the news on Good Morning America that she re-recorded "Love Story":
"I'm so excited to share with you that tonight at midnight, I'll be putting out my version of my song 'Love Story,' which was originally on my album Fearless," Swift said. "I've now finished re-recording all of Fearless, which will be coming out soon. My version of Fearless will have 26 songs on it because I decided to add songs from the vault, which are songs that almost made the original Fearless album, but I've now gone back and recorded those so that everyone will be able to hear not only the songs that made the album but the songs that almost made it, the full picture."
This trio goes way back, even if Selena doesn’t fully remember that. Watch Jon and Vinny give Selena Gomez some tips on making a delicious tomato bruschetta on Selena + Chef, now on HBO Max.
HBO Max’s ‘Selena + Chef’ follows Selena Gomez as she continues to learn how to cook in her new series from her own kitchen. In the latest episode, she learns to make bruschetta from Jon and Vinny, who actually have some history together.
In the clip, she answers one of the most important questions of all. If she were a food, what food would she consider herself, to which she replied jalapeno. She explained that one bite could be alright, but one could be over the top.
Viewers commented on the video, “Selena so Cute”, and “I’ve never really been a fan of her music but, she’s pretty engaging on camera.”
Selena Gomez is cooking up some fun with a cute platinum look.
The Disney Channel alum, 29, showed off her bleached blonde hair in the season 3 trailer of her HBO Max cooking show, Selena + Chef, which premieres Oct. 28. "I'm back, and I'm blonde," Gomez proclaims in the promo.
She previously debuted the transformation on the Instagram for her cosmetic line Rare Beauty. "New look. Need to pick new Rare Beauty lip and blush shades now," she captioned the photo in April, over three years after she last went blonde.
