I hope you’re ready for even more Tetris. Hot off the success of the trippy PlayStation 4 exclusive Tetris Effect and the chaotic battle royale of Tetris 99 on Nintendo Switch comes … Tetris Hello Kitty? OK, that isn’t the actual title. But Tetris owner and brand agent Blue Planet Software and Hello Kitty creator Sanrio are working together to create an online browser-based Tetris game that’s launching June 3. In addition to the falling blocks we’re all familiar with, the new game will feature an assortment of characters from the Hello Kitty universe (I’m hoping Badtz-Maru will show up at some point). The collaboration is part of a newly announced multiyear partnership between the two companies, which includes games and merchandise (such as clothes and cosmetics). 2019 also happens to be an important year for both brands: It’s the 35th anniversary for Tetris and the 45th anniversary for Hello Kitty. “Not only have the Sanrio characters been one of my favorites since childhood, it also has such an incredible history among girls and women,” said Maya Rogers, the president and CEO of Blue Planet Software, in a statement. “The pairing of these two brands to create games, novelties, and fashion items is an incredible opportunity that we think will have great appeal with fans worldwide.”

Last year, Furla and Sanrio launched a Hello Kitty-themed collection. Now, the two companies are teaming up once again to unveil a handbag and accessories capsule inspired by outer-space. The lineup includes wallets, mini-bags, credit card holders, coin purses and more. Staples in the collection include the red shoulder bag constructed with a gold chain and a matching wallet. Another standout are mini carry-alls created to look like Hello Kitty and My Melody’s iconic faces – both designs are topped off with a cute bow. We’re also obsessed with the wallets coming in different variations including envelope wallets. You can purchase the Hello Kitty x Furla collection now at Furla’s web store. Pricing starts at $88 USD.

Japan’s Puroland amusement park is a mecca for fans of Hello Kitty and all her Sanrio friends. Located in Tokyo’s Tama district, Puroland even offers wedding plans, where you and your beloved can get married with Kitty-chan as one of your guests. This week, though, Puroland is offering a wedding service unlike any they’ve ever provided before, as it’ll hold its first wedding ceremonies between people and Sanrio characters. On June 10, Sanrio will hold two iterations of what it’s calling “The Wedding Ceremony of Dreams,” which will take place in the park’s Fairy Land Theater, the same venue it uses for human-human marriages.
