Of course Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez will be attending Monday’s Met Gala together.
“We’re going together,” an excited Gomez told Access Hollywood earlier this week. The BFFs also plan on getting ready together before the big night (and Swift is co-chairing the event).
“It’s so fun. It’s going to be the best. It’s like kind of prom for fashion,” Gomez, 23, said. But she kept mum on what her gala look will be. “I’m not trying to get in trouble,” she joked. But, she said, the look is “beautiful” and “so cool.”
Selena Gomez didn't stick around the Met Gala for too long; instead, she headed to a very intimate party of four where she and friends jammed to Don Omar's "Zumba."
"How my after MET looks," wrote the 23-year-old singer. The video shows her friends dancing to the reggaeton track while she records them with her phone.
From what we can see in the video, Gomez opted for a more casual jeans-and-booties look instead of the Louis Vuitton polka-dot gown she rocked at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Gala in New York City on Monday.
The simple dress was paired up with a leather bralette and lace-up shoes. The singer and actress topped off the edgy look with a fierce cat eye and a slick ponytail.
Even though Selena Gomez dressed up for the Met, she still kept it real and relatable with a badass ponytail. After the event was over, Selena ditched her head-to-toe Louis Vuitton outfit for a much more casual vibe, perfect for a super chill dance-off with friends.
Whenever Selena steps out, she's a paparazzi magnet and the photogs were quick to notice and snap an unexpected detail in Selena’s post-Met look. While heading out in her low-rise jeans, Selena revealed some new colorful ink on her hip. It's seems as if Selena could've added yet another tattoo to her growing collection, or, just finally unveiled one that’s been in hip hiding.
Of course, it could’ve totally be a temp tat for fashion’s big night, considering she's usually quick to post any brand-new ink on Instagram. It’s also unclear exactly what is decorating her hip. One Instagram user pointed out that it could be a cartoon pony, but we’ll have to stay tuned to see if she reveals more, soon.
