Sarah Ferguson has shared her first post on Instagram after it was revealed her daughter, Princess Beatrice, was married at Windsor Castle on Friday morning. A palace statement confirmed that Beatrice tied the knot with Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a small intimate ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge, Windsor. Despite spending the day celebrating her daughter's wedding, it was business as usual for Fergie as she promoted her latest venture hours after the ceremony. She wrote: "Today at 4pm on @storytimewithfergieandfriends I am going to be drawing Baby Elephants with @davidwilliampress and my guest friend is @mark.lisk #storytimewithfergieandfriends #childrensbooks #books #stories." It's likely that Fergie had pre-recorded her post though, giving her chance to spend the weekend with her family after the celebrations. One said: "Congratulations to your daughter Princess Beatrice and Edo. Soo lovely to hear some good news for a change. I hope you all have a beautiful day." Another added: "Many congratulations on the wedding of Princess Beatrice and Edoardo. Wonderful news. You must be very pleased." A third went on: "Congratulations to your family and especially Beatrice on her wedding to Edo. All that matters is the marriage not everything else and she has done it her way. Fantastic news."

After cancelling their May 29 wedding celebration due to the coronavirus, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were married in The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Windsor Park's Royal Lodge this morning in an intimate ceremony. (Royals, they’re just like us—during a pandemic at least). Many members of the royal family have been isolating on property since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, making this unassuming venue a logical choice for the pair to wed as safely as possible. All Saints Chapel was built by royal architect and garden designer Jeffry Wyatville, who did extensive restoration work on Windsor Castle and designed the Royal Botanic Gardens, among many other royal properties. The chapel was restored in the early 19th century by King George IV and later remodeled by Queen Victoria in the 1860s in the Neo-Gothic style. All Saints is on the same property as St. George’s Chapel—the wedding venue of Beatrice’s sister, Princess Eugenie—which is a much grander venue that was likely too elaborate for such a small celebration. (A royal source told PEOPLE the wedding only had 20 guests, one of them being the Queen). However, while little is known about the church, All Saints Chapel holds significant historical value. It served as a place of worship for both Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II, and it was the site of the Queen Mother's funeral in 2002. The chapel was so meaningful to Queen Victoria that it's sometimes referred to as “Queen Victoria’s Chapel.” These days, Queen Elizabeth II often uses the chapel for personal prayer and worship services.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are a fairytale bride and groom! One day after the couple pulled off their surprise royal wedding, Beatrice and Edoardo shared a romantic glimpse of their flower-filled day in two new photos. One photo shows the bride and groom exiting All Saint's Chapel in Windsor Great Park, a short drive from Windsor Castle. Beatrice, 31, wore two extraordinary pieces on loan from the closet of her 94-year-old grandmother, Queen Elizabeth: a vintage ivory Peau de Soie taffeta dress by Norman Hartnell — the designer who famously crafted Elizabeth's own WWII-era wedding gown — and the Queen Mary diamond fringe tiara, which was worn by the Queen on her 1947 wedding day to Prince Philip, 99. The historic tiara "is arguably the most sentimental [piece] lent from the Queen yet, for a very special reason," a source tells PEOPLE. "The Queen saved this grand tiara specifically for Beatrice. It was always reserved for her as they are exceptionally close.” The tiara was originally made for Queen Mary by Garrard and Co. in 1919 from a diamond necklace given by Queen Victoria for her wedding. About 20 close friends and family — including Beatrice's parents, Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew — attended the socially distanced ceremony, which was officiated by The Reverend Canon Paul Wright and The Reverend Canon Martin Poll. Prince Andrew walked his daughter down the aisle, and Mapelli Mozzi's young son Wolfie served as the best man and page boy. (The child's mom is Mapelli Mozzi's former partner, architect and designer Dara Huang.)

Having shared two official wedding snaps with the world the day after their nuptials, the happy couple released two more photos on Sunday. Taken by photographer Benjamin Wheeler, the pictures capture just how gorgeous the small royal wedding was, and Beatrice looks radiant in both snaps. Mapelli Mozzi took to Instagram to share the new portraits taken with his bride. According to BAZAAR's Royal Editor at Large, Omid Scobie, Mapelli Mozzi shared the pictures, along with a poem dedicated to his wife, on Instagram, but subsequently deleted his post. Scobie re-shared the perfect snaps on Twitter and revealed, "Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has shared three more photographs from his wedding to Princess @yorkiebea, alongside a poem by E. E. Cummings dedicated to his new wife." A press release previously revealed that the couple's mothers read "Sonnet 116" by William Shakespeare and " " by E.E. Cummings aloud at the wedding. It was the latter that Mapelli Mozzi shared in his Instagram post, dedicated to his wife.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi had initially planned a wedding this spring in London. It was to be held at St. James Palace, with a reception to follow at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Queen Elizabeth. In short, it would have been a Royal Wedding, with all the pomp and circumstance that goes with that. http://instagram.com/p/CC3bPdjFw62 But 2020 had other plans—and the couple canceled their May wedding when the coronavirus pandemic made large gatherings impossible for the foreseeable future. Instead, they got married Friday in All Saints Chapel at the Royal Lodge, on the grounds of Windsor Great Park, in an intimate celebration with just close family in attendance. The ceremony was, of course, no less royal for its smaller size, since the Queen and Prince Philip were there. Also on the guest list were the couple's close family, including the groom's young son, Wolfie, who T&C learned played an important role in the ceremony. And now, the bride's younger sister, Princess Eugenie, has shared a tribute to the celebration on Instagram. "Couldn't Bea happier (get it) 🐝..." joked Eugenie in her post, which featured four photos of the bride and groom on their special day. "What a complete joy and privilege to watch you, my beautiful big sister, walk down the aisle to dear Edo. I am so proud of you and I'm so excited to support you in the next chapter of your life. We are going to have so much fun together. Happy wedding day to you both xxxx" This content is imported from Instagram.
