She's made no secret of her desire to conquer Hollywood and it seems that fledgling actress Cressida Bonas' dreams are becoming a reality. The 26-year-old, who has received critical acclaim for her acting talents, is to return to the small screen after being cast in Doctor Thorne, the new period drama from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.  The thespian, who dated Prince Harry until they split in April 2014, will play the friend and confidante to Stefanie Martini’s character Mary in ITV’s new show, which has been adapted from Anthony Trollope’s novel of the same name. Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas is quashing further links to royalty after turning down the chance to feature in an upcoming film about Bonnie Prince Charlie. The aspiring actress, 26, was offered a coveted role in The Great Getaway, a £6million movie about the Battle of Culloden where Jacobite pretender Bonnie Prince Charlie — played by English thespian Jamie Bacon — was defeated by the Duke of Cumberland. Cressida was offered the supporting role of Catherine MacLeod, a Jacobite supporter who helps the prince escape capture.  |

Laughing into the night sky, Prince Harry's former girlfriend Cressida Bonas is seen leaving his 31st birthday celebrations in the early hours of Wednesday morning.  Wearing a white button shirt with frilly bow, the newly-single actress shares a laugh and a joke with a pal minutes before her old flame exits the same London pub after a five-hour birthday party.  Just hours after it was revealed that the 26-year-old had split from her actor boyfriend, Cressida joined Harry and friends - including Zara Phillips and husband Mike Tindall - at The Cross Keys pub in Chelsea. |

 She's one of the most gorgeous ladies in pop. So it's no surprise Alesha Dixon has her fair share of male admirers. The Britain's Got Talent judge has revealed she was once chatted up by none other than Prince Harry.  Asked to reveal a secret about her herself, Alesha, 36, told the Daily Mail: "Prince Harry once chatted me up. A couple of weeks after appearing at the Jubilee Concert at Buckingham Palace, he came over to chat me up in Pangaea nightclub in London.  "I thought he just wanted to say hello, but I’m often told I’m very naive." The former Mis-Teeq singer, who won Strictly Come Dancing back in 2007, admitted having a teeny crush on the royal back in 2011. "William's a nice boy, but if I had to choose I'd go for Harry - he's more of a rebel," she told the Daily Star. "I've seen him on nights out and he definitely likes to party!" |

 A man who felt “belittled by society” for being a white, ginger-haired male and fantasised about shooting Prince Charles so Prince Harry could be king has been found guilty of plotting a terror attack “for the Aryan people”. Mark Colborne, 37, compared himself to the Norwegian far-right terrorist Anders Breivik – who killed 77 people in 2011 – and made notes in a diary detailing plans to assassinate the royal heir with a sniper rifle. He also acquired manuals entitled Assorted Nasties, Silent Death and The Poor Man’s James Bond, jurors were told.  Colborne was arrested on 3 June last year after his half-brother found papers detailing his racial hatred in his bedroom at the family home in Southampton. The Old Bailey in London heard how Colborne had written of his wish to carry out a terror attack, stating: “I will put a major dent in England, one that is felt around the world. If for some reason I cannot perform a major operation, then I will still opt for low-level attacks.” In March last year, Colborne bought various ingredients for cyanide, the court heard. On 3 June, Kevin Colborne came across receipts for chemicals his brother had bought while preparing to decorate the home. He became concerned after learning that the chemicals could be used for fireworks and alerted his mother, Patricia. Together they went into Colborne’s “extremely cluttered” bedroom, uncovered an assortment of chemicals, the books and other equipment, and called the police. |

 Sounds like Prince Harry isn't off the market just yet. Earlier this week, Us Weekly reported that Prince Harry and his ex-girlfriend Chelsy Davy were back on, with sources saying that the pair has been meeting up for months. According to People, though, Prince Harry is unattached. Prince Harry and Chelsy dated on and off for seven years, first meeting in 2004 and spending time together in Africa during Harry's gap year. In 2011, Chelsy joined Prince Harry at Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding, and news of their breakup followed soon afterward.  Speculation of the royal's love life comes during a special week for Harry, as he celebrated his 31st birthday on Tuesday. He spent his big day commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, showing off his scruffy beard during an appearance in England. |
