Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are gearing up for their royal tour of Australia and New Zealand this fall and, for Meghan at least, that means planning out a wardrobe for the trip. The couple reportedly hit a snag in their plans when Meghan told Harry she wanted to wear a Stella McCarthy tuxedo for an evening event on the tour. According to the Daily Mail, Harry nixed the tux, probably because his grandma, Queen Elizabeth II, prefers to see women in dresses and skirts. "Meghan is being told she needs to stop dressing like a Hollywood star and start dressing like a Royal," a source from the fashion team at Kensington Palace told the Daily Mail. "Meghan wanted to wear a tuxedo-style suit but Harry said it wasn’t traditional enough." Of course, Meghan has worn suits while out with Harry before. In February, she wore an amazing suit to the Endeavour Fund Awards' Ceremony at Goldsmiths' Hall in London.

http://instagram.com/p/Bk3vWxOB7Be Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for almost two months, there was only one thing left for the couple to do — thank everybody who sent the couple a congratulatory letter or card in honor of their big day. The Duke and Duchess have already sent out their thank you notes, which are addressed from Kensington Palace, according to Instagram account Royal Letters. The gorgeous notes come cased in an envelope containing Kensington Palace’s crest, and feature the romantic black-and-white portrait of the couple taken just minutes before their wedding day by fashion photographer Alexi Lubomirski. The photographer also took the couple’s dreamy engagement photos at Frogmore House in Windsor late last year.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a midsummer’s night out on Thursday. The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a reception in London for young people from around the Commonwealth — including a group from those countries they will visit in the fall: Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga. It was an opportunity for Harry, 33, who was made the Youth Ambassador for the organization of 53 countries linked to the U.K. in April, and Meghan, 36 (in a canary-yellow dress by American designer Brandon Maxwell), to hear more about how the inspiring young people have been working together to help shape the future.

In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, Markle claimed he hung up on the prince after a heated phone call and admitted he lied to him about staging paparazzi photos in the build-up to the royal wedding. The Duchess of Sussex's father said Prince Harry had advised him to stay away from the press, "He said, 'They will eat you alive.' He was right." Markle did not follow the prince's advice: Just a week before his daughter's wedding, Markle was exposed for staging paparazzi photos that supposedly showed him getting ready for the wedding. Markle told The Mail that he lied to Prince Harry about the scandal, saying he was just being "measured for a hoodie," in the photos.

Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have talked about wanting kids, it's all just a matter of time until Meghan makes the big announcement. Although, according to a royal expert, Meghan and Harry won't be in full control of their kids like an average parent would. Reportedly, Meghan and Harry can't have full custody of their kids, which yeah, very confusing. Royal expert Marlene Koenig said,"The sovereign has legal custody of the minor grandchildren." Apparently this bizarre rule dates back to the 1700s when King George I decided he wanted full control over his grandkids. "This goes back to King George I, and the law's never been changed," Marlene said. "He did it because he had a very poor relationship with his son, the future King George II, so they had this law passed that meant the King was the guardian of his grandchildren."
