Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are heading to Africa — this time as a family of three! http://instagram.com/p/BzN8VdOlsbk The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed on Thursday that they will carry out a royal tour in Africa this fall. In a post on their @sussexroyal Instagram page, they also hinted that son Archie, born on May 6, will be coming along: “This will be their first official tour as a family!” http://instagram.com/p/BzNEjlcFoNE They will visit the country of South Africa, with Prince Harry also making stops in Malawi and Angola. He’ll also do a “short working visit in Botswana on route to the other countries,” according to the Instagram post. “The Duke and Duchess are really looking forward to meeting so many of you on the ground and continuing to raise awareness of the high impact work local communities are doing across the commonwealth and beyond,” the couple wrote on Instagram. |

Prince Harry has chosen a “Pippa Middleton-replica” by marrying Meghan Markle, a royal commentator claims.  Former royal editor Duncan Larcombe claims Meghan, 37, and Pippa, 35, are “quite similar characters,” sharing an interest in wellness, exercise and their celebrity friends.  Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Digital, he said: “After the Royal Wedding, there was a discussion there was something romantic between Harry and Pippa, which was incorrect. “But it’s quite funny to think that Harry is now married to somebody who is quite similar in temperament, personality and bubbliness to Pippa.” |

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are thinking about the future for their son, Archie Harrison — and perhaps one more child. Harry interviewed Dr. Jane Goodall for the September issue of British Vogue (which his wife guest edited!), and their conversation quickly turned to preserving the world for the next generation. “We are the one species on this planet that seems to think that this place belongs to us, and only us,” the 34-year-old royal said, to which Dr. Goodall agreed that humans will continue to feud over resources unless something changes.  The conservationist pointed out that the “terrifying” state of the world, as Harry put it, has likely intensified for him since welcoming Archie in May. “Well, it does make it different, doesn’t it?” she said.  “It does make it different,” Harry replied. “I think, weirdly, because of the people that I’ve met and the places that I’ve been fortunate enough to go to, I’ve always had a connection and a love for nature. I view it differently now, without question. But I’ve always wanted to try and ensure that, even before having a child and hoping to have children…” |

Everyone loves to blame Meghan Markle for making Prince Harry increasingly reticent, but in reality, he’s been that way for years before he even met her. During an interview with ITV several years ago, the Duke of Sussex admitted that his father Prince Charles has been attempting to drive this point home for his whole life. http://instagram.com/p/BydEluvlcvX During the interview, he said, “I am not normal. Much as I’d like to be normal, I am not normal and my father reminds me of that the whole time. I’ve tried, we’ve [himself and Prince William] both tried to be as normal as we can.” There’s no question that Prince Harry loves Meghan Markle and vice versa. However, his marriage to her is ironically making him even more inclined to secrecy. As a biracial American divorcee actress, Markle is not exactly the woman everyone expected him to marry. And the critics are making Prince Harry extra defensive. Compare this to Prince William’s wife, Kate Middleton, and you’ll see the huge differences. The press hounded her for years before she and Prince William got married but they weren’t nearly as mean about her background. Now with years of practice, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have found a balance between public and private life. |
