 In case ya hadn't heard, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have peaced out of Canada and are currently living in Los Angeles, where they're social-distancing along with the rest of the country. And while the royal couple never once said they were planning to lean on the U.S. government to help with their security costs, President Donald Trump hit Twitter to inform them that he'll be doing no such thing: “I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom,” Trump tweeted. “It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!” Glad that's cleared up. And if you're looking for details on Meghan and Harry's move, a source told The Sun: "Harry and Meghan have left Canada now for good. The borders were closing and flights were stopping. They had to get out. But this move was planned for some time. They realized Canada would not work out for various reasons and they want to be based in the Los Angeles area. They have a big support network there. It’s where their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs and business managers are based. Meghan has lots of friends there and, of course, her mum Doria." |

Meghan Markle has outlined the latest in her case against the British newspaper that published excerpts from a letter she wrote to her father.
The next stage in her case against the Mail on Sunday opens in the U.K. on Friday. But early on Monday morning, the Duchess of Sussex’s legal team lodged papers as a response to the paper’s defense, which was filed in January.
Meghan, 38, is suing publishers Associated Newspapers and the Mail on Sunday for publishing extracts of what she describes as a “private and confidential” letter sent to her father, Thomas Markle, in August 2018 — three months after her wedding to Prince Harry.
The Mail on Sunday says that Thomas revealed the contents of the letter after a friend had told PEOPLE of its existence. Meghan’s new statement says she did not authorize her friends to speak to PEOPLE. The legal papers add that if she had authorized the interviews, she would have told her friends not to talk about the letter and its contents.

Like many public events, The Invictus Games 2020 has been postponed. To mark what would have been the event's Opening Ceremony, Prince Harry recorded a special video message which has been shared on the organization's social media channels. www.instagram.com/tv/B_-WMOFnz_q/Prince Harry set up the Invictus Games to support injured and disabled service people all over the world. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, which is cute and romantic and whatnot, but honestly, I just want to know what fancy gifts they gave each other. According to an Us Weekly source who felt the need to spill some tea, “Meghan designed Harry’s card and handwrote a beautiful, sentimental message inside expressing her love for him.” Meanwhile, “Harry surprised Meghan with a huge, stunning bouquet of roses and a ring, which she loves.”  In case ya missed it, the couple is currently holed up in Tyler Perry’s multimillion-dollar Los Angeles mansion with their son Archie, and Us Weekly’s source says, “The most important thing to them was that they got to enjoy each other’s company without any interruption from the outside world.” Royal reporter Omid Scobie spoke to a source who confirmed the same to Harper’s Bazaar, writing, “The day will simply be quality time with one another and as a family. They’re not going to be doing any work and made sure they have no meetings or calls in the diary. Like everyone else, they are in lockdown at the moment, so they will just be hanging out together at home. But it will still be a lovely day.” |

Markle recreated the 2016 Botswana camping trip where they fell in love in their very own backyard, a source told People, complete with a tent and sleeping bags.
“It’s a place that means so much to them –and to Harry in particular — so Meghan wanted to bring that happy place to him on his day, so she set up a tent, got sleeping bags, cooked dinner and recreated Botswana where they fell in love.”
According to their 2017 engagement interview, Prince Harry and Markle had only shared two dates when he left for Africa.
“And then it was I think about three, maybe four weeks later that I managed to persuade her to come and join me in Botswana,” said Harry.
“And we camped out with each other under the stars. She came and joined me for five days out there, which was absolutely fantastic.”
The couple, who recently celebrated their second anniversary, gave each other gifts relating to cotton, a traditional second-anniversary gift.
According to The Knot, cotton symbolizes two people becoming more interconnected and flexible. Last year’s theme was paper, with Meghan reportedly giving Harry her framed wedding speech.
