"Extra's" AJ Calloway met up with country music starlet Taylor Swift, who dished about her follow-up music to her "Red" album and her new collaboration with Keds. While we were interviewing Taylor Swift this afternoon about her awesome new Keds line, Bravehearts, we noticed something very shiny on her finger -- yes, THAT finger! Did the "Sweeter Than Fiction" star get engaged without us knowing it?

Taylor gives an update on her latest projects, including her musical involvement with the upcoming biopic One Chance, a film based on the true-life story of Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts that she wrote the song Sweeter Than Fiction for. The film opened last week in the UK and is set to hit U.S. theaters later this year. Taylor Swift recently set down her guitar and stepped in front of the camera to film a role in 2014’s “The Giver.” “I couldn’t believe it was happening to me,” Taylor told Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle at the Keds showroom in New York City on Friday. “I still can’t believe I shot in South Africa and shot all my scenes with Jeff Bridges. It was unreal. “Seriously, I couldn’t believe I got to be a part of the experience. And I just tried to work as hard as I could and just throw myself into that environment as much as I possibly could and it was really long hours and it was a lot of preparation and getting into character and all that,” Taylor, who is also a paid spokesperson for Keds, continued. “But it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Honestly.” Though Taylor’s acted before (“Valentine’s Day,” “New Girl”), filming alongside Meryl and company took the experience to a new level. “I learned so much,” she told Michelle. “It’s crazy how educational just getting into a situation and doing it [is].You learn so much more, because I have taken acting classes and read as much as I possibly can on it and done theater before all this started, [but] you learn more by actually doing it than you could ever learn in preparation.” Despite her impressive new film role, Taylor will soon deliver new music and her album will be as personal as ever. “What I go through is going to be the story that I tell,” she said. “I think lyrically I always try to tell my fans exactly what’s happened to me in the last two years and that’s thing they can expect.”

Taylor Swift is the embodiment of youth, bravery and springtime — at least, that’s how some brand managers see her, as she’s been re-enlisted this year as a face promoting a spring-oriented campaign for Keds sneakers. Swift began a relationship with the 98-year-old brand in 2012, with a series of red sneakers that aligned with her then-new album Red and her upcoming Red Tour (today, the brand still gets an exclusive tab on Swift’s website). The ads at that time were built around a concept of female empowerment, with ad copy referencing “brave girls” and Swift out front as perhaps the “brave”-est of them all. Ads reportedly featured Swift quotes that included empowering phrases such as “don’t change,” “take chances” and “trust yourself.” The new sneaker campaign is kicking off with print ads that again feature Swift and her fellow “brave girls” (or “bravehearts”), coupled with more inspirational messaging. “Welcome, brave girl. Create your own happily ever after,” the copy reads on the Keds site bravehearts.com. A new video ad has also been released on the Keds Bravehearts YouTube channel.
