Charlotte has had a very exciting year in 2018, with the birth of her baby brother Prince Louis making her a big sister. The little girl has also been a bridesmaid for her uncle Prince Harry and the Duchess of Sussex, and has managed to steal the show at every public event she has attended, by waving and smiling at the adoring crowds. And in 2019, there will be another major milestone for the little princess – she will be starting primary school! Charlotte is already a full-time member at Willcocks Nursery School in west London, where she has been enrolled since January. The big change in Charlotte's life is likely to be a smooth transition thanks to her big brother Prince George, who will be going into Year Two at primary school by the time she joins, and so making it seem like an exciting adventure. Charlotte is thought to be attending the same school as George, Thomas's Battersea, which is also where the Cambridges' cousin, Maud, goes, the five-year-old daughter of Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor.

Princess Charlotte, the second child of Kate Middleton and Prince William, is set to make the perfect hostess as she follows in the steps of her mother, an insider has said. A royal source has divulged that the three-year-old loves to make guests to Kensington Palace feel welcome. While many small children may hide behind their mother and avoid talking when first meeting new people, Charlotte is showing impressive confidence. It’s been revealed that when visitors come to their home she’ll make a point of greeting them and making sure they’re looked after. An insider told US Weekly said: “She’ll come up to guests and ask them if they want tea or coffee or offer them sweets — so adorable!"

We don’t mean to be dramatic here, but Kensington Palace is currently being overrun with thieves. They're sprouting up like royal weddings, and it's a full-on epidemic. On Saturday, September 22, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time), a crime of gargantuan repercussions took place. As onlookers and church goers were pleasantly distracted by the wedding of royal family friend Sophie Carter to Robert Snuggs, a certain blue satin bundled bag belonging to Kate Middleton was taken straight from her hands. As Marie Claire confirms, the young princess swiped the item under her mother's nose, all while looking quite innocent.

Charles is affectionately known to his three grandchildren as Grandpa Wales, and their close bond was evident from the recently released birthday portraits of them all together. And while photographer Chris Jackson managed to capture the perfect family shots, Charles was also on hand to help ensure that his young grandchildren were kept entertained during the process. In an exclusive interview with the Sunday Times Magazine, Chris observed just how hands-on Charles was. "He is a very hands-on grandfather. He was holding hands with George and Charlotte, and bouncing Louis up and down for a long time. George was very happy on the prince's knee. They have a great relationship that's a little more established, as George is a bit older," he said. Charles is soon to become a grandfather for the fourth time, with the news of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex expecting their first child together. Prince Harry and Meghan announced the happy news in October ahead of their royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand, and throughout their trip were gifted with thoughtful baby presents by kind-hearted fans. And while the couple haven’t disclosed whether they know the baby's gender, Harry admitted that he'd love to have a baby daughter.

There is now another member in the family who fans say looked like Prince William and Kate Middleton's 3-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte: Lady Kitty Spencer, William's cousin and his late mother Princess Diana's niece. Spencer, who is 27 and works as a model, recently posted on her Instagram page a black and white childhood photo of herself posing outside in London while wearing a gingham dress. "First day of school #tbt," she wrote. Over the past couple of years, many people have pointed out the resemblance between Charlotte and her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, 92. Which is convenient, as she too is a fan of the royal wave!
